Axes Of Evil Review

This is an incredible collection. This is 576 pages of bad-ass, gore-soaked heavy metal thunder! I recognized only a few of the names in the table of contents, but every story in this book captures the true essence of metal, of rock and roll, and all of them kept me riveted (always impressive, as far as anthologies are concerned.) Like a killer album, every "track" in Axes of Evil is a single

Stormcloud Poets #2!

Stormcloud Poets Anthology #2Edited by E.S. WynnCover photo by Cheryl Empey

From The Back Cover:

If I could write with fire
I would burn poems into pages
Fling sounds like sparks
Paint skies with brushes lit
By primal life
By primal rites.

If I could write with fire,
I would rise as such a force of flame
That my words would snap
Like the lash
Of a storm

That my words would burn
Pour passion

Artist Stephen Cooney does amazing work. This guy is talented beyond belief, and I am honored to be the editor of this awesome folio of paintings by Stephen and stories which come from some great writers. If you love horror or pictures so terrifying they’ll make you want to climb out of your skin, pick up a copy of this full-color coffee table book from my friends over at Horrified Press.

Rise of the Forgotten God

From the back cover:

There is a darkness that hangs heavy over the hill-country. Shadows form where once there was light. Abominations not seen in the Eight Lands for centuries rise out of the mists, take cattle and children, sometimes hunt even grown men in the night.

In the midst of it all, a lonely soul tracks through the snow, seeking her stolen sister. Armed only with the legacy of

Stormcloud #1 is out!

Stormcloud Poets Anthology #1

Edited by E.S. Wynn

Cover photo by Stephanie Blantin

From The Back Cover:

What is poetry but emotion caught wet

and pressed

under glass?

What is life but a series of poems

presented as moments

to live through

to love through

to know loss through?

What is a storm but wind caught in water

and what is a cloud

but a means

for the sea

to at last
