Time to Write

Next week is my last full-time week in the office, before moving temporarily to a 3-day week. While it may be a bit of a challenge financially, I’m beyond excited to have the chance to focus on writing and promotion. I’ll be working on Electra’s Fury, third novel in The House of Atreus trilogy. Helen’s Judgement comes out on 7 November and reunites readers with various characters from Clytemnestra’s Bind, but both books can be read separately.

Here’s to some quality time spent writing and reading!

Mycenae: Behind the Myths

Most ancient Greek myths take place during the heroic age, a time when men fought with monsters and when the gods walked among us. The roots of these myths are in an often-overlooked period of Greek prehistory: the Bronze Age. Read my article on Mycenae, the prehistoric setting of Clytemnestra's Bind.

Helen's Judgement Update

A quick post to prevent confusion. There is an entry for Helen's Judgement on Goodreads, which was not submitted by me or my publisher.

Helen's Judgement will not be released until December 2024, despite the random date of January 2024 added by Goodreads. My publisher and I are endeavouring to correct this with the Goodreads Librarian team.

Despite there being a two-star rating, the book is not yet available for advanced review because it is still with my editor.

Looking forward to providing you with updates once we begin the edits!

Watch Reclaiming the Myths

Had a wonderful discussion with Nikki Marmery (Lilith) and Laura Shepperson (The Heroines).

We roamed from Mycenae, to the Garden of Eden and the heart of Athens, exploring narratives that challenge convention, reframe history, and delve into the timeless themes of empowerment, justice and human complexity.

Watch on Instagram.
