The Examiner Examines Emily's 13th Hour Trade Paperback!This trade paperback collects a four issue run into a single graphic novel that serves, near as I can tell, as essentially the origin story for Emily. Even the back cover asks: "we all know Emily the Strange is the world's weirdest thirteen-year-old, but do you have any idea how that came to be?"  The 13th Hour begins on Emily's 13thbirthday, a day of a solar eclipse, a day when a strange gift is sent by an aunt neither Emily or her mom have never met. Written by Rob Reger, and interestingly drawn my Buzz Parker (who demonstrates a wild graphic sense) this tale is told in four parts. And let me be very clear about this, Emily lives up to her title.

The Pop up Store is hosting Rob Reger's Art Show collection of 13 canvas paintings that represent "The Enigmatic Vision of Emily The Strange".

This collection of artwork by Rob Reger focuses on the thoughts, ideas, visions, and hallucinations of Emily the Strange. As Creative Director for Cosmic Debris' muse, Reger is constantly engaged in considering what Emily would do or think. With Emily's vision in mind, Reger works out what Emily does in comics, novels, video games, animation, music, and fashion collections. Emily's mind is an organized chaos. This show represents 13 snapshots of what might be going on inside her brain on any given day. 
The Art Show will be hosted in the beautiful Navigli Location Via Vigevano n°1, Milano (nearest underground MM Porta Genova)
