NYT author's proceeds from book go to The Turning Point Legal Fund c/o The Family Place.

THE TURNING POINT later retitled TROUBLE DON'T LAST ALWAYS will be reissued in November 2011. TROUBLE DON'T LAST ALWAYS was my first foray into mainstream fiction. The book was also a result of my own medical scare with my vision, but that's another story. During the research on domestic abuse I was saddened and astounded to learn that domestic violence touched 3 in 10 woman. Hearing some of the women's stories left me in tears and so thankful that I had a warm, loving husband. I wanted to do something for the women who weren't so fortunate and established The Turning Point Legal Fund to help women of domestic violence restructure their lives. The fund is overseen by The Family Place, a women's shelter in Dallas. So, every time you purchase THE TURNING POINT later retitled TROUBLE DON'T LAST ALWAYS, you help a woman in need!

TWICE THE TEMPTATION and UNDENIABLE 6/21/11
Please mark your calendar for June 21st when TWICE THE TEMPTATION and UNDENIABLE will be released. I'm really excited about TWICE THE TEMPTATION as it will be my first short story collection, and I hope a book all of my readers will want to add to their personal libraries. To celebrate this event I invite you to stop by my web site and register to win some wonderful prizes in my Countdown to Temptation contest. While there take a moment to check out the fantastic men featured in my MAN OF THE MONTH Calendar, with a new hottie each month. The small Texas town setting for UNDENIABLE is my own hometown. I had fun with that, and writing the book. I enjoyed writing about a hard man bent on revenge trying to resist the woman he'd love throughout eternity. But true, lasting love is undeniable.

BREAK EVERY RULE reissue March 29, 2011. (Taggart/Falcon Series #3)

Dominique Falcon is a gorgeous model, a wealthy socialite--and a total fool when it comes to love. After falling for a charmer who was after her money, she's decided to set some ground rules for romance, starting with: Don't be richer than your man. But that was before she met Trent Masters, a ruggedly sexy truckdriver who drives her crazy...
He might be rough around the edges, but Trent is a hardworking man who built his successful trucking firm from humble beginnings. Dominique can't ignore the sparks between them--but dating a man so soon after his fiancee betrayed him would be breaking another basic rule: Don't trust a man on the rebound. Even so, things are heating up fast and--even though she might get burned--Dominique is ready to risk it all. In the game of love, rules are made to be broken...
Break Every Rule is classic Francis Ray. It's a tale of inevitable love. The writing is crisp and concise. It's a joy to read. --Gwendolyn Osborne
“Classic Francis Ray…a joy to read.”—The Romance Reader
“Francis Ray is a literary chanteuse, crooning the most sensual romantic fiction melodies in a compelling performance of skill and talent that culminates in another solid gold hit!”
—Romantic Times
“Francis Ray creates characters and stories that we all love to read about.”
—Eric Jerome Dickey
There was high sexual tension from the start of the story, revealed through Trent's wicked thoughts. Overall, an enjoyable read. A category romance with a lot packed into it, there is even a romance for Janice. It has some memorable one-liners and funny moments. The characters from this story are interconnected with these other stories: "Forever Yours" (7/94), "Only Hers" (4/96), "Heart of the Falcon" (2/98), "Break Every Rule" (8/98), "Until There Was You" (6/99)."

From Publishers Weekly
With Daniel Falcon and Madelyn Taggart of Heart of the Falcon happily married, Ray turns to Daniel's only sister. Dominique Falcon is beautiful and rich. And restless. At 29, she's fled from one city to another, from one job to another, and, after her marriage to a classically abusive man, she flees from men, too. Settled, for the moment, in Dallas, she embarks on a career in photography and immediately alienates her new neighbor Trent Masters, a successful, handsome and decent man who has, through will and hard work, risen above his unenviable childhood. The question is whether Trent can hold on through Dominique's seemingly inexplicable changes in attitude and Dominique can get over her justifiable fear to accept a decent, supportive man. Sex comes at the end, not as an afterthought, but as the final element in a passionate healing process. It's the kind of warm, humane portrayal we've come to expect of Ray.

HEART OF THE FALCON, the reissue of Taggart/Falcon series book #4 on 11/30/10

A busy career as a production engineer for a Houston oil company has left Madelyn Taggart (her brother Kane was the hero of Forever Yours) with little time to socialize. Besides, the only man she's ever really wanted is the half African American, half Native American man she's seen in a photograph with her brother. But now the man in the picture, Daniel Falcon, head of the powerful Falcon Industries, is relocating to Houston. After a chance meeting and seduction, Madelyn finds herself pregnant by Daniel, who is desperate to avoid repeating the unhappy marriage his parents had. Daniel can be more than a bit self-righteous and when he finally condescends to marry Madelyn, she firmly declines.
As sexy and rich as Daniel is, she'd rather face motherhood alone than in a loveless marriage.
“[A] well-written, tender story about a man growing into respect and trust.”—Publishers Weekly
“A new romance you won’t want to miss with characters that are so real, you get involved in their lives. Splendid romance by Francis Ray! Heart of the Falcon is superb!”—The Literary Times [ref to 1st ed.]
“Ray has created another sure-to-be bestseller sizzler that will singe your mind with the laughter, tenderness, and passion that smolders between the pages.”—Romantic Times

FOREVER YOURS-March 30, 2010.

Why would a happily divorced, independent businesswoman like Victoria Chandler agree to get married again? It’s called desperation. To keep her lingerie boutiques from going bankrupt, Victoria’s got to find a husband—and fast. But what kind of man would accept a marriage proposal that sounds more like a business proposition? Enter Kane Taggart…
Big, handsome, smart, rich—Kane is one fine catch who could have any woman he wants. But there’s something about Victoria that leaves this silver-tongued rancher speechless with desire. He’s tempted by her offer: one year of marriage, no strings attached. But when they seal the deal with a soul-searing kiss, Kane makes a deliciously indecent proposal of his own…

If You Were My Man except. 3/2/2010
Rafael glanced around. Air stalled in his lungs. The owner of Fontaine restaurant was stunning. She laughed softly. Even with the noise of the crowded bar Rafael heard the alluring sound. He decided then and there he’d hear it again…while they were in bed.
“Welcome to Fontaine, gentlemen,” Nathalyia Fontaine greeted. “Is the food and the service to your satisfaction?”
“I have a problem,” Rafael said, waiting for her to face him. When she did, his pulse hammered, but nothing showed on his face. He wasn’t a cop for nothing.
“Yes?”
Standing, Rafael held out his hand. “My name’s Rafael Dunlap.” The contact was barely the touch of their palms. Still, Rafael felt his heart rate increase. He studied her exquisite face for a reaction, and was disappointed to see none. “Go out with me and we can discuss it.”
Not one luscious black lash moved. Rafael couldn’t recall a woman being totally unresponsive to him. He wasn’t sure he liked it.
“Please excuse me for a moment.” She walked to the hostess station. Rafael watched her every step. He admired the erect posture, the way the black material hugged her perfectly shaped hips. Without conceit, he told himself that he’d be doing the same before the week was over.
She returned with a menu and handed it to him. “As you will see, I’m not on the menu,” she replied sweetly. “Gentlemen. Please come again.”
She hadn’t taken two steps away before the men at his table burst out laughing.

ONE NIGHT WITH YOU In stores and online 11/3/09
Cougars, brush fires, snow storms—rancher Duncan McBride tackles it all without a flinch. But the archaeologist who’s come to authenticate cave drawings found on his property is the kind of trouble he’d sworn to avoid. Far from the aging academic he was expecting, Raven La Blanc is a stunning woman…and definitely not sticking around this small Montana town once her job is done.
The primitive drawings at Duncan’s ranch are Raven’s ticket to the tenured position she’s worked so hard for back in Santa Fe. But there’s no denying the attraction between her and Duncan. Maybe, just this once, she can put her work aside and explore the depths of her own heart and soul? One night may be all it takes for Raven to really find what she’s looking for…
