Rodrigo Hermosa, the first athlete to compete for Paraguay at the Paralympic Games, could not fulfill his dream of qualifying for the finals in Tokyo and was eliminated in the 50m freestyle qualifying series in the S9 class for the physically disabled.
Hermosa (18) arrived in Tokyo supported by her progress after being a double finalist at the Para-Pan American Games in Lima in 2019 in the 50 and 100 meters freestyle.

The Ecuadorian oil company plans to improve extraction on its largest field in the Amazon
The Ecuadorian state oil company Petroecuador announced this Saturday the drilling of wells to improve the extraction of crude oil in the “Sacha field”, one of the most important in the country, located in the Amazon province of Orellana (east).

France completes evacuation from Afghanistan
