“God Loves Gays” Billboards Go Up in Utah
Last September, after raising more than $80,000 online, Facebook God finally had a billboard put up right next to Westboro Baptist Church.
And now He’s done it again in Salt Lake City and Orem:
“God met an excellent billboard broker whose specialty is hunting these billboards down,” the God group told BuzzFeed in an email. “After half a year of trying, we were able to finally find a few boards in Utah.”

In response to a request from BuzzFeed News, whoever is behind “God” declined to identify hi...

Rep. Jody Hice: Church-State Separation is a False Belief and Secular Government Would Lead to Chaos
Speaking to the Future Conference (run by California’s Skyline Church) yesterday, Rep. Jody Hice (R-GA) told the audience that separation of church and state was a “false belief” that didn’t exist in the Constitution… ignoring the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment.
Hice also offered up the hypothetical differences between two towns, one secular and one embracing a Judeo-Christian worldview.
Now, this is historically accurate, but you tell me: What kind of behavior would you expect to...
The Supreme Court Was Wrong to Rule That Texas Could Reject a Confederate Flag License Plate
Earlier today, in a weird 5-4 decision that had Justice Clarence Thomas siding with the four liberals, the Supreme Court ruled that Texas had the right to reject a specialty license plate for the Sons of Confederate Veterans with a Confederate flag on it:
Nine states have let drivers choose specialty license plates featuring the Confederate battle flag and honoring the Sons of Confederate Veterans, which says it seeks to celebrate Southern heritage. But Texas refused to allow the group’s plate...

Nine Dead in Charleston Church Shooting
South Carolina State Sen. Clementa Pinckney (below) was among the nine people assassinated tonight in what appears to be a hate crime at the Emanuel AME Church, a historically black church in Charleston, South Carolina.
The police described the gunman as a clean-shaven white man about 21 years-old who was wearing a gray sweatshirt, bluejeans and Timberland boots.
Around 10:45 p.m., police officers at the scene drew their weapons and later escorted a man in handcuffs, who appeared to match that...
Internal Survey of Ex-Jehovah’s Witnesses Finds Many Families Disrupted or Destroyed Due to Shunning Policy
The people behind JWAlumni.org asked readers of their website (and other ex-Jehovah’s Witnesses groups) some basic questions about how their decision to leave the faith has affected their lives.
Almost universally, and not surprisingly, the religion’s policy of “Disfellowshipping” (shunning) former members of the faith has affected them profoundly.
98% of their respondents said leaving the faith impaired or destroyed their relationship with their family. Most of them added that the reason for t...
Prayer Must Be the Christian Flag of Surrender
In response to the forthcoming Supreme Court decision on marriage equality, Princeton University Professor Robert P. George told the Illinois Family Institute about how Christians can fight back against the Anti-Christian Agenda That Exists Only in His Mind:
Prayer is the most powerful weapon we have.
The second thing Christians can do, he says, is speak out. That’s the second thing.
Which is either a case of misplaced priorities or an admission that the most Christians can do at this point is a...
Christian Complains That Neighbor’s Colorful Yard is Becoming “Relentlessly Gay”
Julie Baker thought it would be a good idea to add some color to her yard by way of some solar lamps. The result was this work of beauty:
If you click on the picture, you can see the words “Love” and “Ohana” (the Hawaiian word for “family”) in the lamps. Lovely, isn’t it?
But one of her neighbors took offense to that… sending Baker this incredibly hilarious faith-based message:
Your yard is becoming Relentlessly Gay! Myself and Others in the neighborhood ask that you Tone It Down. This is a Chri...
Christian Evangelist Raising Money to Give Bibles to Starving, Homeless Iraqi Refugees
As Daesh/ISIS has taken over parts of Iraq, they’ve displaced a lot of citizens along the way. One estimate says that more than 100,000 people have left the capital of Ramadi alone to avoid the terrorist takeover.
It’s a problem that really bothers Christian evangelist and Repent America director Michael Marcavage:
Perhaps you’ve wondered how you can help make a difference in Iraq for such a dark time as this. How can you care for the oppressed and hurting? Most importantly, how can you make an...
