Hello everyone!It's finally October, which means we have less than a month until Halloween, and the release of my first book! A lot of you might be reading about this book for the first time, so allow me to introduce it. I will keep this spoiler-free, so please don't click away!
It Came From Above is the first story I have ever put together, and it is special to me. I am a huge fan of horror, especially 80s slashers, and I wanted to see if I could come up with one of my own. The title was the first thing I came up with, then the antagonist, then a few basic character concepts, and a few months later I had a fully written story.
This will be the first book in an anthology series where I give my own spin on urban legends and monsters that we already know and love! I am making sure to stick as closely to the 80s slasher formula as possible, while trying to bring more depth to the characters than they honestly deserve. So, if you're into cheesy dialogue, dumb teens, small towns, and high kill counts, you will love this book! And if not, there is always the next one.
This book is about a group of friends that investigate the mysterious and sudden disappearance of their friend. Terror ensues as more of them begin to disappear, leaving them with more questions than answers.
