Life Drawing

Had another of the weekly experimental life classes I'm attending last week. Run by Ian Walton, it's not so concerned with learning anatomy or drawing accurate pictures of the model. It's more about translating what you see into a range of interesting marks and textures, loosening up and getting unexpected results.

With this drawing we were not allowed to erase mistakes, instead to cover them up with layers of masking tape or emulsion paint and to then draw back over that. Turns out charcoal on tape makes for some nice accidental textures...
