Here's a large scan of my cover painting for 12 Angry Men, out in November from Criterion.

SWAT

I know, it's been a while. As well as having a holiday, I've been finishing the last issue of Criminal: The Last Of The Innocents and there wasn't many pages without spoilers I could show. I finished the issue over the weekend, and today I've doing this painting for the back up article...
It's about the TV show SWAT, and is written by Duane Swierczynski. This issue will be out in four weeks.
Next up for me is a couple of other short stories with other writers, before the next project from myself and Ed Brubaker.

After all that scanning of John M Burn's Jane art last week, I couldn't resist, and had to go and buy some original art... I bought this daily along with a Frank Robbins Johnny Hazard daily I'll get round to posting someday.

JANE by John M Burns

Started scanning some 25 year old clippings of the Jane comic strip drawn by the splendid John M Burns. He's one of my favourite artists and I've got about a thousand of these daily strips cut from the Daily Mirror. The newsprint is starting to turn brown so I'm going to scan and clean up all of these before they disintergrate. These are the earliest episodes I've got, does anybody know when the strip started in 1985? The first one is labelled T96 and is quite early on I think.
