Friendship Adds -Episode 95
A scroll through social media might leave you wondering if friendship is worth it. It seems to be getting a bad rap. The problems with it- jealousy, lack of support and loyalty, conflicts- are posted so often that it seems we may have forgetten that friendship adds.
One of my Facebook friends posted, "A friend who holds you accountable is better than a friend who will sit by and silently watch your bad habits destroy you. Keep real people around you."
So true and so much to discuss. Join Serita Wilson and I as we discuss this important success principle.
1. What does friendship mean to you? What makes a good friend?
2. Conversely what causes conflicts or hinders friendship? How can friendship affect your career?
3. How do you deal with conflicts in friendship? How do you keep your cool in the midst of conflict?
5. Are role models, accountability partners or mentors friends or do you keep different boundaries with them?
6. Do friends have to stay in contact frequently? What about introverts or those with social anxiety?
7. Male friends versus female friends
8. Plenty of Guppies. Friends with benefits. Starting a relationship off as friends
We have a lot to talk about. Books, Mary Kay and other merchandise available on the linktree.

Escape- Episode 94
As a teacher and someone who created a performance based business as a means to escape, I think I know something about escape. It can mean to get away, to break free from a rut, or to escape a dangerous situation.
1. What does escape mean to you? Why do you call yourself an escape artist?
2. How did you come up with the business name- Exquisitely Aligned?
3. What does that name mean to you?
4. Why do you feel most people need to be more exquisitely aligned? Why do most people feel a need to escape?
5. What do you see people craving in life?
6. What advice do you have for those viewers/listeners with an appetite for change? Will we always need to escape or is it possible to build a life that we don't need to escape from?
We may discuss these questions as well as our personal journeys as entrepreneurs.
We have a lot to talk about and you are invited to comment questions or personal experiences below.

Her career took her south, to North Carolina, where she met and married her husband gave birth to their son and adopted their daughter.
More recently shes made her way out west. Today, she calls south Orange County, California home. When shes not at her desk; shes on her paddle board.

Her mission is to shatter the myths of mundane thoughts and mediocrity.
As the spark behind Exquisitely Aligned, she works with amazing people, like you, who have come to realize having it all isnt all that.
She helps you achieve a deeper, more meaningful, and (even) more fulfilling life.
Her own life has had a myriad of twists and turns.

Years later she learned to be an out-spoken advocate for her actual husband (the RIGHT guy), who nearly died, when their kids were just toddlers its ok, he didnt.
And theyre still living their happily ever after.
Experiences, successes, and challenges have shaped who she is today and created a clear path for her to guide you to your destination.
She shares step-by-step practical tools & techniques during your one-on-one time for you to continue to live your life long after your time together.
Her goal is for you to make YOUR unique difference in the world.

Navigating CONFLICTS in Communication- Episode 93
One of my favorite quotes is, "We have two ears and one mouth for a reason, to listen twice as much as we speak." This quote hints at a powerful truth. Communication is a give and take, a reciprocation, an openness to learn and think and process another's ideas. But sadly, that respectful spirit is missing from many people's lives, and not enough people make effective communication a priority. Join Richard Blank and I as we discuss this important success principle.
1. What does communication mean to you? What makes it effective?
2. Conversely what causes conflicts or hinders communication? What made you focus on communication in your career?
3. How do you deal with conflicts in communication? How do you keep your cool in the midst of conflict?
5. Are role models, accountability partners or mentors a part of your pursuit of improving communication?
6. Why a call center?

Guidance- Follow Your First Mind- Chapter 7
One reviewer called this book , "An interesting read that is not merely about dating and relationships, but about many facets of life. Zen's talents and creativity are apparent in her mix of poetry and prose as well as her combination of storytelling and self-help."
Audio Chapter 7 of Plenty of Guppies.

Day 172 on the best seller's list; currently #49 in Kindle- Native American Poetry
Zen Ase, a newly divorced 43 year old Southern woman wanted a fresh start. She'd heard there were plenty of fish to choose from in the modern dating pond. What she discovered were plenty of guppies. Exactly 101 of them!

The result? A provocative, transparent, raw and delightfully uncensored account of her experiences with the 101 men she encountered on her journey to find "the one". InPlenty of Guppies, Zen spills all the tea on dating psychology, relationships, and self-discovery, while giving readers a rare glimpse into the life of an award-winning artist and best-selling author. The book is an enlightening narrative that explores gender roles and identity outside of societal expectations.

Zen has written a refreshingly mature modern day epic of online dating, layering her personal story with erotic poetic verses and passionate prose that frame her journey toward rebuilding a life as a single woman and adjusting to both an empty nest and boomeranging children.

Zen Ases story is alternately poignant, hysterical, uplifting, shocking, and (at its heart), a real life example of the old adage "truth is stranger (and can be harder to believe) than fiction".

Plenty of Guppiesis the book every adult who has loved, lost and lived to try againdidn't know they needed and will effortlessly respond and relate to.

He didn't want to be a starving artist, but he always wanted to play music. He found out the local police department, Prince George's County in Maryland had a 20 year retirement plan. So, he said to himself, "If I can manage to not get killed for 20 years, I can get back to my music. I managed to survive, and I've been happily retired for 14 years. I retired when I was 42. I played in a band with a high school friend for almost 10 years until Covid showed up and put us out of business. Now I work with an artist. My life shows dedication to a dream, and the process to achieve that dream."

Autonomy- Episode 88
Freedom. It's important. It means many things to many people. People of all races, creeds, languages and national origins have bled and died for it. But keeping freedom isn't free. It must be protected by laws, through votes and through protesting the unjust uses of those laws or the heavy handedness of those who are supposed to serve we the people, but serve they the lobbyists or they the factions.
There is no self empowerment without autonomy. And since that is the entire purpose of this podcast to enhance each individual life so each individual can positively impact his or her circle, it's a great day to release this podcast discussion.

Free Spirit- Episode 87
One of my favorite quotes is, "Well behaved women rarely make history." This quote hints at a powerful truth. But sadly, that nonconforming spirit is missing from many people's lives,, and not enough people make it a priority. Join Dr. Marcia Martin and I as we discuss this important success principle.
1. What does being a free spirit mean to you?
2. Were you always a free spirit? If not, how did you decide to step out of the norm and follow your own path? What role did that play in your personal fulfillment?
3. How do you deal with societal judgment and disapproval as you pursue your personal vision? How do you keep your joy in the midst of setbacks?
5. Are role models, accountability partners or mentors a part of your pursuit of answering the questions - Who am I? Why am I here, and where am I going?
6. What has being a free spirit done for you?
