abilities: spells infused in baking, sewing, cleaning; communication with woodland animals; poison survivalwhere her stepmother’s power comes from her vanity and her vengeance, snow’s come from her love. the truth is, the queen was afraid not only of snow’s beauty, but of her power. snow finds her strength when she’s banished. her power comes in the small but meaningful ways: her pies provide protection to the dwarfs, her embroidery on their pillows keep their dreams sweet. when the apple comes to her, her lips draw the poison free from the apple in a type of kiss. she takes the crown, and brings her dwarfs with her.
