I like writing realistic women; women who are stoic and try to suppress or hide their tears, women who cry at anything or who cry when they’re angry then get angrier because no one will take them seriously with tear streaked faces. Women who tell men to stop grabbing their hand when they’re fleeing from danger and women who hold on and won’t let go even after the danger has cleared. Warrior women, motherly women, women who aren’t sure where they belong or what they want to be.
We need more stories about well developed, realistic women.
