Hot Gossip from 1820: A Year of Royal Upheaval

I am now writing full time with deadlines, which is a different experience from working and writing simultaneously but with no deadlines looming.

Another aspect that is different is I have learned my lesson regarding what wastes my time, or puts me into a situation in which I might need to engage in significant re-writes. I have settled into a routine, developed habits and figured out how to avoid those d...

Inspiration for my bad-boy's tale of redemption

4th Of July weekend has just drawn to a close and I hope all my American readers enjoyed spending time with family and friends! Although Mr. Jarrett and I were stuck inside in quarantine because of a mild bout of Covid, we still enjoyed fireworks from our balcony facing inland over the city.

I took the opportunity to get deep into writing my second novel, To Redeem an Earl. If the preorders are any indication, many of you are excited to read about how on earth bad-boy Richard Balfour is going ...

How Debrett's Peerage of 1802 helped me write The Duke Wins a Bride

I am so excited to launch my first book as a fiction writer. For this story I drew on elements of my own, wonderful meet-cute. My husband is my personal hero and I could not have gotten this far without him. When I told him I wanted to return to fiction writing he was all about it. Didn't hesitate for a second.
