John Turnure is an American author and translator who grew up in Latin America and Europe. After completing a bachelor’s degree in languages at Georgetown University and a master’s in international relations at Johns Hopkins University, he embarked upon an international career that took him and his family to Central America and Southeast Asia for many years.

When he’s not writing and translating novels, John translates articles for the English-language editions of several Latin American media outlets.
