Amber Kuipers I really enjoy writing about something that I have experienced or witnessed in my own life. I feel like it adds a layer of authenticity to my writing.…moreI really enjoy writing about something that I have experienced or witnessed in my own life. I feel like it adds a layer of authenticity to my writing. I also enjoy writing about the topics that we may normally avoid because they make us feel uncomfortable or we don't really know how to talk about them. I think it's important to open up those spaces for kids to talk about these topics. When Grey Came to Stay invites conversations about grief and what that may look like for people.(less)
