I also wanted to share my passion for food as well as the culture I was bro…moreGrowing up in San Diego inspired both Fried Rice and For the Love of Food. I also wanted to share my passion for food as well as the culture I was brought up in. More importantly, my son, Jason, is really what made Fried Rice extremely personal to me.

I always enjoy reading about characters I could connect with, so I strongly believe anyone who reads Eva's story can relate to her one way or another.(less)
