FAT CHANCE-- FIRST U.S. MOVIE SCREENING IN APRIL!

The first U.S. Screening of the comedy/horror movie, Fat Chance will be held on April 12, 2014 at the Marble City Comicon in  Knoxville, TN. Be there to witness the hilarity and carnage! Many cast and crew (including me if all goes as planned) will be in attendance and there will be a Q&A after the screening. Click here for more info.

I had a fun time playing the character of Clark Wagner in Fat Chance and I'm excited to see the premiere, which will also be the first time I get to see the finished film. I hope you'll join us for some laughs and a Q&A panel with cast and crew at the con. It'll be fun.

This weekend has been a blur of excitement.

We recorded our 200th episode of the Earth Station one podcast on Saturday, live from Odin's Comics. The amazing Geek Behind The Lens, Nikki Rau-Baker took some really cool photos of The ESO Network's Earth Station One episode 200 podcast, as did a few others. Check out a few of them below. While we were recording I found out that my story, “Fear The Dark” from Moonstone Books’ The Spider: Extreme Prejudice was nominated for a Pulp Factory Award, which is very cool indeed.

Today, I was a guest at the amazing Atlanta Comic Convention, which is always a fun time. Here are a few shots from the event. Look for more tomorrow once I clear the rest off the camera.

After the con, I recorded another fun interview over at The Book Cave podcast. Always a good time chatting with hosts Ric Croxton and Art Sippo.

And finally, Tommy Hancock posted a cover tease for an upcoming book release that features one of my stories. Gorgeous art by Mike Fyles on this one. Coming Very Soon from Pro Se Productions' Pulp Obscura Imprint... Stay tuned for more.

SUNDAY! SUNDAY! SUNDAY!

No football for me today.

I am not really much of a football fan though so it's okay.

Regardless, I do have a fun, but busy day ahead of me. 


First off, I'm heading out to the Atlanta Comic Convention in a few minutes of typing this update. This is a fantastic one day show that I have been privileged to attend for almost 20 years. Geez, has it really been that long? I hope to see you there.


After ACC, I'm off to The Book Cave for an interview. We're talking IDW's upcoming Zombies Vs. Robots: No Man's Land. I always have a great time visiting this wonderful podcast. The hosts, Ric and Art, are great guys and we always have good chats.


Then, I'll cap the night with some writing. I have a Starship Farragut script to put the finishing touches on (my first screenplay co-written with my buddy, Mike Gordon). It's been a fun experience. Hopefully, we can do it again. Plus, I still have words to add to Ghost Gal so I will try to do some of that tonight as well.


Oh, and I'm also riding high on the Best Short Story nomination for the Pulp Factory Awards with my story "Fear The Dark" from The Spider: Extreme Prejudice. Truly an honor.

Should be a great day.
