I found out last night that a writing project of mine has been cancelled due to low pre-sales. It's a bummer, but it happens. The publisher has a plan that can get these stories out, but in a different format than originally planned. Ah, such are the vagaries of working in the publishing business.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
I decided to take advantage of the nice Thanksgiving weather to do some writing outside. I don't have any big plans other than lunch with my parents and brother so I'm working on one of the novels that a publisher is anxiously (or is that impatiently?) awaiting. SWITCHING GEARS! WHY I LIKE TO WORK ON MORE THAN ONE PROJECT AT A TIME!
Sometimes you just have to switch gears.
I'm working on a novel now and nearing the end, but just wasn't feeling it today. It happens from time to time. In this instance, I have been working on this novel for some time now and today I just needed a break from the characters and story for a day, a chance to recharge the batteries.
