“You need to understand, Winter,” he said, getting up on his elbow as he turned to her. “I will talk to him and I will try, but I will not yield when it comes to you or your safety.” Her hopes plummeted, crashing around her, as she tried to keep her tears at bay, knowing exactly what he was missing out on.
What he was giving up for her.
“Mark…”
“No, look at me.” He pressed a finger under her chin bringing her gaze back to him, to the emotion that was searing her from the inside out.
Forging her broken pieces back together.
And just like he always did, his touch and complete love took her under and held her captive.
A place she never wanted to leave.
“I will not yield when it comes to you. Not in any way.”
“I’m not going anywhere Mark.” She whispered back.
“And I’m making sure of that. Yes, he is my family, but you are my life.”
Her heart stuttered in her chest, beating a rhythm that was meant just for him. A beat that only he could hear. Only he could heal.

I Can't believe that I can finally share it!
You guys have no idea how hard it was to sit on this cover for as long as I have!
Once again my cover designer did an awesome job! It's perfect and suits the image of Mark that I had in my head perfectly!

It's Coming September 24th!
Mark and Winter's Story!

The Demons don’t always sit in the back row silently haunting you.
Sometimes they chase you.
Winter grew up like every other girl. Till her reality was torn away. Her demons have beaten her down, leaving her a twisted shell of who she used to be. But when one man saves her, believes in her and doesn’t give up, she starts to see that the demons can’t hold you down. Not if you fight them.
Mark has spent his life searching to fill the gaping whole in his chest. An ache that he was starting to think would forever haunt him. His life choices haven’t helped. Creating a darkness that slowly crept up, set on destroying him. The only light is the semi family that he has built around him. Finding Winter was a coincidence, one that only fate could provide. But when Mark’s family buckles under the pressure, will Winter be able to save him and keep the Mancini family together?
Will they be able to battle the demons enough to finally find where they belong?
Or will the scars of battle tear them apart.
