Book Review: The Thursday Murder Club

I probably bought The Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman for the same reason you did: I remembered how funny, likable and intelligent the author seemed to be on Pointless and thought that would mean his writing would be equally as funny, likable and intelligent.

Book Review: To Ash and Dust by H.L. Walsh

I have been eager to find out what happens next for Malach, Amara and the other characters in the 'Deliverance' trilogy, and so I jumped at the chance to read an ARC copy of the second book, To Ash and Dust, in exchange for an honest review.

Book Review: Mark of the Raven

I love a good old fashioned high fantasy set in faintly medieval inspired magical worlds and Christian fantasy Mark of the Raven by Morgan L. Busse promised to be exactly that.... In general, an enjoyable book... It didn’t knock my socks off but it was okay.

Review: Behold the Monkey

Inspired by a true story, this short TV film tells the story of Cecilia Giménez (Imma Colomer): a woman from Borja in Spain, who has dreamed of being an artist ever since the day, as a small girl, she saw a church fresco of Christ entitled Ecce Homo (Behold the Man).
