Three Laws, Visualized
Since the publication of the book and launch of this blog, we’ve been heartened by the many responses. Some have written to say that it’s as though their way of seeing the world is new, and that they can now spot ways of elevating performance that had been hidden from their view.

US Airways Pilot demonstrates how the Three Laws of Performance guides success in a crisis
You can’t plan for a crisis, but can you plan for high performance during a crisis. Let’s take a recent example that illustrates this:

The Two Recessions
If you read the news, you probably believe that we’re in a recession, bordering on a depression. Some people are fighting the news— such as those who wear buttons saying “I refuse to participate in a recession.” I’m not sure if they started it, but BNI is at least partially behind the campaign.
The Three Laws of Performance has another view. It says that there are actually two recessions—one you can do something about and one you can’t.
