Iris Mir (Barcelona, 1983) has a degree in Communication Sciences from Ramon Llull University and a Master's degree in Political Science, specializing in new models of democracy.

Sharing stories has been a constant in Iris’ professional career. A passion that has taken different forms throughout the more than ten years she lived in Hong Kong and Beijing. First, as an international correspondent for Spanish and international media and later as an expert in communication and cross-cultural project management in Asia and Europe.

The exposure to different Asian cultures and lifestyles nurtured her passion for exploring creativity, identity and self-expression beyond the confines of communication. This e (Bio in Spanish below the text in English)

Currently, she lives in London and focuses her professional activity on cultural diversity, identity, self-expression and creative wellbeing through writing, master classes at universities, talks, workshops and MindBody programs.

Iris dreams of a future of sustainable innovation where all communities have space to use their voice and co-create alternative futures.

Iris Mir (Barcelona, 1983) es licenciada en Ciencias de la Comunicación por la Universidad Ramon Llull y posee un Master en Ciencias Políticas, especializándose en nuevos modelos de democracia.

Perseguir y compartir historias ha sido una constante en su carrera profesional. Una pasión que ha tomado diferentes formas a lo largo de los más de diez años que ha vivido en Hong Kong y Pekín. En primer lugar, como corresponsal internacional para medios de comunicación españoles e internacionales y posteriormente como experta en comunicación y gestión de proyectos transculturales en Asia y Europa.

El acceso a las diferentes culturas y estilos de vida asiáticos nutrió su pasión por explorar la creatividad, la identidad personal y la expresión individual más allá de los confines de la comunicación. Acercándola, así, a los mundos de la danza y el movimiento.

Actualmente, vive en Londres y centra su actividad profesional en la diversidad cultural, la identidad, la expresión individual y el concepto de la tercera cultura mediante la escritura, clases magistrales en universidades, charlas, talleres y programas de fitness y productividad.

Iris sueña en un futuro de innovación sostenible donde todas las comunidades tienen espacio para usar su voz y co-crear futuros alternativos.
