ANNOUNCING A NEW SERIES
Here it is; the first book in my new Flintlock Sagas series, The Young Frontiersman! It is an exciting story during the Revolutionary War that follows young Will Hackett, who with his family and friends are pioneers trying to start a new life in the wilderness of Kentucky. Along with the perils of trying to survive in the wilds, they face the fierce attacks of blood-thirsty savages stirred up by treacherous British agents intent on annihilating the American settlers. This should be enough for anyone to deal with but William carries emotional wounds that threaten to destroy him.
The Young Frontiersman is packed with adventure, thrills, and laugh-out-loud humor you expect from one of my stories. This book will not only entertain you, but because it is written from a Biblical world view and with a strong Christian emphasis, that you will find yourself constantly exposed to lessons on good character as well as life-changing spiritual lessons. To aid parents and teachers there is an appendix in the back of the book with chapter questions for the purpose of stimulating important teaching opportunities for families or classes who read the book together. One of God’s Most Powerful Weapons is Available to Us
King David had committed adultery, then murdered the husband and finally instigated a huge political cover-up to hide it all. It started with lust and as David gave in to this sin it led to greater and more destructive wickedness. This ‘Man After God’s Own Heart’ had bought into Satan’s lies and had sold his soul the enemy. By now David had walled himself off from God and was consumed with his own sin. But God loved David and wouldn’t give him up. So God pulled out one of His most powerful weapons—God sent someone to King David to tell him A STORY! If you’ve never read about this it’s found in II Samuel chapters 11 and 12 in the Bible. Spoiler Alert: God’s plan worked! Through the story that Nathan told David, God’s message went straight into David’s heart and he repented.

God’s Secret Teaching Technique
I started New Year’s Day with my wife watching a video of the Gospel of John. That story never gets old! In God’s great wisdom and creativity He has chosen to use stories to reach our hearts and all of us can testify to the effectiveness of that clever technique. I want to encourage all of you parents and teachers to imitate the Master Teacher by reading or telling engaging stories to your children and students. Then, while they are still gripped by your tale, teach them the character and spiritual lessons from the story that can change their lives. Remember, STORIES CHANGE HEARTS…That’s why the Lord used them so much!

AT LONG LAST IT IS FINALLY AVAILABLE! The audio version of Book 4 in the Tales of Larkin series: Mosstar and Belladonna is now on Audible.com.
I know some of you have really been looking forward to this and I want to thank you for your patience. I am very pleased at how it turned out. This story is one of my favorites and I have to say that recording the voices for the characters was a lot of fun.
