PAID!

As in PA and ID. I got good news from both states. Punished! won the Keystone to Reading Award from PA's Keystone State Reading Association. This is one of those stealth awards that doesn't get much mention, so I don't even have a link right now. But I do have a bit of irony. But I do have a bit of irony. I recently was asked to speak at the conference in Novmeber. I told them I couldn't make the trip to do a workshop (i.e. spend an hour with 7 people), but would be happy to speak at one

DEnverMENTIA

From the moment I arrived in Denver, I found myself much more forgetful than usual and cursed with a persistent wedgie. The brain disfunction definitely can be linked to the thin air. I'd like to blame the wedgie on the atmosphere, too, but since my colon generally generates positive pressure, even at sea level, I'm not sure I can argue for a connection.

The festival was great. I especially enjoyed the teen panel, where brilliant young folks asked Jordan and me some amazing questions.
