SELFSAME – COVER REVEAL!

Friends, this is my first full-length novel. You might think that the cover would be easy compared to writing the book, but I’m here to tell you this is not the case. However, I’m just thrilled with how it’s turned out. I have fallen in love with this bird, which my husband finds troubling. Selfsame coming REAL soon to Amazon!

I’ve got a book in my hand! And it’s mine!

Self-indulgent moment here as I tore open the Amazon package to find my proof copy of the Deviants paperback! Oh, the delight! The cover is silken, the spine unbroken. I notice the image isn’t quite centered… that’s what the proof copy is for! I did this all on video, until my dog started upstaging me with her squeaky squirrel. Sigh. Life and Art

We’re in the midst of a pandemic, and France has just started lifting its restrictions. I know when I step on that street that there are still many, many people infected, and that we are far from safe. And yet invitations to “masked” parties are rolling in… I’ve always felt (like many of us) that we were living in dystopian fiction, but the idea of partying makes me wonder if we’re now turning our life into a scripted film. And I don’t know how the movie ends. #noiamnotpartyingwithyou
