Battleship (Action/Thriller/SciFi - PG-13):
I live in Hawaii now. I'm almost obligated to go see this movie. Even if I wasn't obligated, I would go see it. Beyond the plot, it just looks fun. And hello? Alexander Skarsgard. Duh.

Sidenote: I scheduled this post like a month ago, obviously before I saw the sneak peek and wrote my review. I thought about altering the

Writing Update: 12 May 2012

I told Twitter and FB, but I forgot to post it to my blog. :P

As of 3:30PM (ish) HST on 12 May 2012, I have accomplished writing. *big smile* The doing of which has wiped me out. I'm done. I need a few days to recoup before I can look at another book. Either that or stiff drink and trip to the movies. You know. Which ever comes first.

I'm going to do this timeline style, because I'm lazy.

Hentai: Midnight Sleazy Train

Groping is a sad fact of life in Japan because mass transit is one of the main modes of transportation. People are crammed in close (think sardines) and someone sometimes gets an urge to cop a feel. Of course, it's illegal and you get in trouble if you get caught. BUT when you have laws against it, you know someone will make into a fetish and turn it into porn. Thus I give you...

Military Spouse Appreciation Day

I don't like to get political on any of my venues but hey, this isn't about politics. It's about appreciation.

Q&A: Superman or Batman?

I always pick Batman. Well, post Dark Knight Batman. The Bam-Pow Batman of Pre-Dark Knight is one I don't acknowledge. :P

It's not because I think Superman is a boyscout. I have no issues with Superman. He's cliche because he's the archetype we used to create superheroes. Therefore he's not cliche, he's the original. BUT Batman is dark and brooding. He's a dark hero bad boy that just needs love.
