Q&A: Tim Burton or Christopher Nolan?

That's right. Today's Q&A is all about BATMAN. The latest movie came out today and I want to know what you think of the two sets of Batman movies.

We have the BATMAN (1989) and BATMAN RETURNS (1992) directed by Tim Burton versus the trilogy of BATMAN BEGINS (2005), THE DARK KNIGHT (2008) and THE DARK KNIGHT RISES (2012) directed by Christopher Nolan.

There are pros and cons for each. While

Music: Moonlight

A friend posted this on FB and I absolutely love it. As I said in a previous post, I'm all over Beethoven so this was an instant win for me.

Writing Advice: Cliched Openings

As it was told to me, so I pass it on to you. Okay... I admit that sounds a little more epic than it actually is but that doesn't make this topic any less important.

Openers are hard. You want to snag the reader's attention and keep them reading. The first chapter, the first page, the first paragraph, even the first sentence can be the deciding factor between an impulse buy or a dust collector (

But really. I own a black cat. I have no issue with the number 13. And superstition is all the mind of the beholder. If I was Japanese, I would have issues with the number 4 instead of 13.

So how about you? Are you

Writing Advice: Description

I'm not going to preach too much on this because lord knows my description-writing skills need work. I will say this, YOU ARE NOT BEING PAID BY THE WORD!
