WONDERCON 2023
This was the first Wondercon for TLL. Team SG had a blast!
It was easy and fun to set up the table. The blue and white color scheme made the banners with character illustrations stand out even more.
We had no idea what to expect, but we were very excited for the event.
All three days were a whirlwind! People came specifically to check us out, because they’d seen the TLL book here and there. Others came by the next day to let us know that they love the book and can’t wait to read the whole series...

Treat time
At treat time, my little dog Apollo, is like a great white shark coming out of the water, all white(ish) teeth flashing, as he tears the bite out of my fingers (along with a few pieces of skin).
He is ferocious, focused, and deadly in a tiny 10-lbs package.
All he cares about is getting that bite-sized treat, lamb flavored, before his owner could change her mind.
Each night is a new battlefield, ready to be conquered and come away from it victoriously. It’s a good thing he does not know that the...

Who is Zeus?
Well, Zeus is a simple-pleasure-kind of dog.
For example, after a thorough ear scratch he likes to lick his paw that did the scratching (waste not want not I guess).
Or afterwards when cleaning his forearms or paws, it’s often a good idea to clean random spots of the carpet (a bit of added surprise to his owners).
Lastly, after his dinner he prefers to lick the last morsels off his face before his owner can wipe his face clean (it’s all about timing really).

Apollo’s Horror Story
My small dog underwent two cataract removal surgeries in January, 2020. (Both eyes, one surgery.)
Apollo received the most hated, most despised, and most humiliating item a dog could ever have.
The Cone.
For twenty-eight days!!!
He did not take it well.
He, being the true fighter he is, battled valiantly against it.
First, he didn’t move – like a frozen awkward dog statue, hoping to convey his displeasure loud enough for us to hear it and thus making us remove the cone.
It didn’t work.
Next, he ...

Los Angeles Comic Con
We had about six weeks to prepare for the big event–LA COMIC CON 2022.
I was so excited. Attending a comic con has been a dream of mine ever since I first put pen to paper, writing the beginning of the Last Lumenian saga.
We ordered posters, banners, and other swag to bring with us, storing all these items in the living room. It was truly magical to see how an otherwise spacious room shrank in no time under the foldable tables (one 6’ long and one 4’ wide bar height); boxes of purple tote...

Apollo
Let me introduce to you my co-worker, co-storyteller, and all-around writing quality insurer aka my small 8lb dog, Apollo.
His coloring is beige, at least these days, but it’s not unheard of for him to go strawberry blond or even bright blond, with hints of dark brown and gray.
He might be small in stature, but his personality is humongous. He firmly believes that his chirping-whining sounds are a clear sign of communication that everyone, especially his owners, should understand. He uses punctu...

S.G. Blaise Firebird Book Award Winner & Author Interview
S.G. was born in a faraway land of castles, monarchies and fallen dictatorships, aka Hungary. Hollywood movies were forbidden under Soviet oppression during her childhood, but her dad smuggled them in anyway, risking his life so that his children could experience the
magic and hope inherent in those stories.

A Terrifically Entertaining, Complex, and Original Fantasy
Tell us more about Lilla. What makes her tick?
Lilla is a sassy 19-year-old princess who is also a rebel-in-disguise. She is kind and caring and loyal. She is also on the verge of being an adult but not quite. There are still people in her life who try to tell her what to do, set her on a path they think is right for her. I love the fact that she is by no means perfect as she struggles to fit in and aims to find her purpose in life.

Meet S.G. Blaise | Award Winning Sci-Fi/Fantasy Author
We had the good fortune of connecting with S.G. Blaise and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi S.G., can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
It was a difficult decision to start my own business, but I’m glad I did. Choosing to self publish my book and build a franchise business around my characters gave me creative control every step of the way.
