Raynette left city life and the corporate world behind 20 years ago when she moved to the Noosa hinterland, on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland. Once there, she learned to relax and to enjoy the lifestyle this beautiful place had to offer. The slower pace allowed her more time to paint and write and after several edits and re-writes, she completed her first book.
She has always loved the English language and composition and belongs to several Writers’ Groups.
Her favourite genre is Women’s Contemporary Fiction — stories about the complexities of relationships and how people deal with life, in good times and in bad.
