Author Interviews!
I’m so very pleased to introduce fantasy author Josephine Wrightson!
Stick around until the end, Josephine has a nice treat for everyone!
I was absolutely thrilled to interview Josephine, not only because I love fantasy, but because I also thoroughly enjoyed her books!
I’ve read four of Josephine’s books, and can’t wait to read more. I was excited to learn more about her and her books in our interview together.
Having read Josephine’s books, I noticed she chooses unique names for her characters, some of which I’d never heard before! I suppose when it comes to naming demons, angels, and monsters of all kinds, they would need to be unique. Josephine says:
“Sometimes that is easier than others. I have a list of names I like, which I refer to. But other times a name just crops up that fits, as if the characters have already decided. In ‘Broken Fears’ the names for the characters came from my readers. Baraken & Kalista.”

A Beautiful, Glittering Lie
Hawkins began writing at an early age. Music inspired her to write song lyrics, which developed into poems. From there, she branched out into writing short stories, articles, children’s books, and eventually, novels. Hawkins has also written a non-fiction book!
I’m always interested in how fellow authors choose the names of their characters. For me, the name usually comes to mind straight away when starting a new project. Hawkins has an interesting way of finding her characters and putting a name to the person in mind! Hawkins says:
“I researched names in a baby name book, and chose the ones I felt would most closely fit my characters’ personalities.”

Hello everyone and welcome to my first exclusive author interview!
I'm over the moon excited and proud to feature, Author Lee Allen, for this week’s author interview!
Lee Allen
I had the great pleasure of getting to know this fantastic author of crime thriller, supernatural mystery, and horror. Being a fan of these genres myself I was excited to lean more about the books and the author.
Lee Allen published his debut crime thriller "Those Crimes of Passion" in 2012.
He later released supernatural mystery "Alone" (2014); horror thriller "The Jack O’Lantern Men" (2015); short story collection "Whispers from the Dead of Night" (2020), a hybrid of horror and multiple sub-genres.
My personal all time favourite genre to read is horror! So, I was quite excited to find out Lee Allen has a new short story, "Will o' the Wisp", coming out this Hallowe'en!
Lee says:
"It’s a gothic horror story, and is also linked to my earlier Hallowe’en novella “The Jack O’Lantern Men”. It can, however, be read either before or after the earlier story, or simply as a standalone short story. It tells the story of a young man who meets a young woman on Hallowe’en night, who appears to be fleeing something or someone, while there is something is lurking in the shadows…
I can’t wait to share it with readers later this month, and it’s already available to pre-order from Amazon!"

Calling all Sci-Fi fans!!
Good morning everyone and welcome to this weeks Book Spotlight!

Book talk spotlight!
Good morning everyone and welcome to this weeks spotlight!
I hope everyone had a great summer, and now that we're moving into fall, I have some more great book to talk about!
This week I'd like to put, Stevie D Parker in the spotlight for her novel, Wounds of Time
This was the first book in a long while that I can honestly say, I could not put it down!
Romance is not exactly my "go to genre" but I had come across this fantastic book and I'm so glad I did!
Stevie has a brilliant mind when it comes to keeping her readers hooked! The story told in the perspective of a wife, husband, and his young mistress, Stevie doesn't disappoint! The suspense of the lies, deceit, and shame is enough to suck you right into this 'real life' situation.
But the characters were so well developed that I felt real emotions for them, especially Vince!
Didn't think I'd be rooting for a cheating husband, but somehow this main character has a way of stealing your heart.
The twist at the end actually made me say: "Oh my god" out load, to no one! I couldn't believe how things took such a sudden, but amazing turn!
This is a quick, smooth read that will leave you talking, and thinking about it for days after, and to me, that's a job well done!
So for that, I gave Stevie D Parker a huge 5.0/5 stars!
I cannot wait to see what this brilliant author comes out with next, she is sure on my watch list for up coming releases!

Today I'd like to highlight a talented YA author, R. Jetleb
Jetleb has a brilliant series of YA novels which are extremally well written, and fun for not only young teens, but adults as well!
The one I'd like to spotlight, and also I had given
5.0/5 stars, is...What about Hailey?
Hailey is a young girl who is unfortunately experiencing the dramatic events of going through foster care. But, Hailey is not alone. She feels she is responsible for her younger brother as well, while trying to find her place in the world and with a new family.
I will admit, this beautiful story was playing with my emotions more then once and had me really thinking about such situations!
I highly recommend this book, and the 'What About' series!
My three teens also very much enjoyed each of these fantastic novels, and are anxiously waiting for the next!

Book talk spotlight!
Good morning everyone and welcome to my Sunday spotlight!
This morning I'd like to talk romance!
I'm personally not a huge fan, but one that had gotten my attention a while back.
One Moonlit Night By Tina Marie.
This is book one of three in the series, and I of course had to dive into all of them to find out what was going to happen!
I found this read nicely written and clean. There were parts that tugged at the heart, made me laugh out loud, and had me waiting in suspense!
Character Abbi, moves to a secluded lake house to escape frightening past events, only to find her past had followed her up there!
Of course, she meets a charming young man next door, but who can she trust when strange things start happening, again!
This romantic comedy had me interested all the way through, resulting in a 5.00/5 stars, for all three books from me!
Tina has since released more books to the series, which I haven't had the pleaser of reading as of yet!

I had come across Skaggs magical adventure and was pleasantly surprised when reading, https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5...
The detail and fantasy world building in this book blew my mind! Giving Skaggs a 5.0/5 stars!
The well developed, and easy to fall in love with characters, have an exciting but dangerous adventure ahead, which makes a real page turning story! I couldn't put the damn thing down!
I was caught up in the world Skaggs build for these unique characters, and all the interesting characters they met along the way. So nicely detailed that I could picture this magical world perfectly in my mind, escaping reality the way an epic tale should!
