Four Books in One year!

Wow, 2022 has been whizzing right by! Late in 2021, I had a meeting with my mentor, Dale Roberts (Self Publishing with Dale) and he challenged me to release FOUR books in year. And I’m proud to announce that with the release of book 7 on October 15, I will have achieved that goal.

Thank you so much for your support and encouragement. We are tired, but it’s a good tired. Each of the books released is better than the last and Mama Paws and I have quite a few more ideas for next year and beyond.

Save the date – October 15, 2022

Book 7 of The Everyday Adventures of Papa & Paws�� goes on sale. In this Christmas-themed story written by Mama Paws, Molly and her sisters have a plan to see Santa this year. Can they stay awake long enough for him to appear? The house is decorated, and the chimney is ready too. Will Santa find the house and know what to do? The treats are laid out, and the timing is right. Will Santa bring gifts on this magical night?

Mama and I can’t wait to share this latest adventure with you!

Action Auction Bidding Begins!

Today at 7 p.m. you can start bidding in the CET/ThinkTV Action Auction, taking place September 7-10, 2022. Proceeds from the auction represent the biggest annual fundraiser for our local PBS stations. You can even bid on a complete signed set of my The Everyday Adventures of Papa & Paws�� books.

I grew up on Sesame Street and Mister Rogers and am so happy to help raise money to ensure kids and adults can continue to enjoy quality educational programs on our local PBS station, ThinkTV. 

The winner will receive signed hardcover editions of Molly Waits Her Turn, The Twins Take Over!, Brave Little Grace, The Hole in the Fence, Smells Like Bath Time!, and Bowwow Bedtime

Papa Paws Reads Watermelon Party

For this Story Time, I’m reading Watermelon Party by Jasmine Cabanaw and illustrated by John Moriarty.

ABOUT THE BOOK:��Watermelon Party is based on a real event that happened at RRR. One July 4th, Janice put out a watermelon, and one by one the animals gathered around the watermelon, sharing in its juicy sweetness side by side, despite their differences in species and size. It is the perfect story of friendship, love, animal rescue, and good, old summertime fun! Rocky Ridge Refuge is animal sanctuary located in Arkansas and is home to animals of all kinds. Run by Janice Wolf, with the help of people who offer to transport animals for rescue and adoption, RRR takes in the toughest cases even when it seems like all hope has been lost. RRR also provides sanctuary for exotic animals, who are usually turned away at shelters due to unsuitable facilities for exotic species. At RRR, there is Cheesecake the capybara, Crouton the tortoise, Squatch the wallaby, and a whole host of other interesting critters!
