FREEDOM
The follow up to my surgery has gone really well. Wrap, bandage, sutures, all gone!
I mean, it’s not 100% perfect. I get to spend a week trying to regain full range of mobility myself and if I cannot, I get to call and schedule physical therapy. This isn’t the most pressing for everyone here. I need to rebuild some endurance and strength as well. It’s really not the end of the world now that the wrap is off. 10 Days Later.
I’ve resisted writing a blog or posting an update for 10 days. I don’t want anyone to think I’m a whining, complaining child. So I resisted. But, considering how the last 10 days have gone, an update might clear my head. It’s a lot of pity party, but you know… fuck it. Let’s have a pity party.

Here I am. So, while it wasn’t a week for everyone here, it was a week for me, but I do have a surgery date now.
March 17th.They’ll cut into my elbow and play with the nerve. It’s honestly not a risky surgery. It’s fast, it’s outpatient.
The surgery isn’t the problem.
It’s the… 2-ish weeks I’m not going to be able to use my left arm. Could be a little less. It’s more likely to be a little longer.

New Covers and Health Update
The title says it all. I’ve been missing most of the month. Let’s do the Big Serious Thing first, I guess. I’m going to keep comments on this blog away from global geopolitical topics except for one thing. My heart goes out to Ukraine.

Rediscovering Passion
In October 2017, I put down my pencil and stopped drawing consistently, walking away from being as freelance character illustrator.
