Two Greatest Stories Books coming to Kindle

I haven't had a lot of news about The Greatest Stories book series recently, so I am exited to report that two of the books in the series are about to be  released as Kindle and iBooks. Now you can have hundreds of quirky history stories at your fingertips wherever you go!

The Greatest Music Stories Never Told and The Greatest War Stories Never Told will be available electronically on Tuesday July 30 (although it is possible to pre-order now.)The price point on Amazon is $8.98.

My mother used to say "Don't break your arm patting yourself on the back," but at the risk of such a self-induced ego fracture, I will mention these two remarkably similar reviews.
The LA Times said this about the music book:
“We picked up the book expecting to inflate our egos, reinforcing the myth that we know everything there is to know about music history. Short answer- we were wrong, very wrong.”
While the Army Times said this about the war stories book:
“Just when you thought you knew everything about everything, along comes Rick Beyer to prove you wrong.”

I say - they are both fun books, and I hope you enjoy them!
Like all the books in this series, they are full of pictures, and I am interested to see how they lay out on the electronic devices. (No, I haven't been given a chance to see it yet.)  Amazon says the books have been optimized for reading on larger screens, and I guess we'll all find out what that means on Tuesday.
BTW, If you decide to purchase the music book, I suggest you also download a link to the companion web page. Here you will have a chance to  hear songs and watch the performers mentioned in the stories. It was great fun to put together, and if you are reading the book on an electronic device, I think it is a great way to experience the stories.  (I only wish we could link directly from the book...maybe some day!) Most of these links are youtube videos, please let me know if there are any old links that need repairing.
