Brazen Angel is Free
As of this post, you will find the ebook of Brazen Angel free. Everywhere. Took some doing, but given that this is Brazen Angel’s 20th anniversary, I thought it would be fun to give back some love.
After all this book, and all of you, started all of this.
The cool part of Brazen Angel has as much to do about the back story of how it was published, as it does the adventures of Sophia and Giles. 
But seriously, have your read, My Favorite Hero? If not, go ahead and click on it. Read the story and then come back. I’ll wait. . . . Are you crying? I can’t read that without getting all teary eyed.
And yes, he’s still a hero. Most days. LOL.

“You didn’t kill anyone. You only winged him.”
“Are you sure?”

Did you guess that it was Lady Hermione Marlowe and her mother, Lady Walbrook, talking in this exchange?

“I don’t think the earl has any intention of—“
“Of course he intends to marry. He made his bow at Almack’s.”
Which of course every matron in London knew was code for: I wish to marry your daughter immediately.

Did You Guess Who Said It?
So who said the following:
“You lied,” she said, going toe-to-toe with the man before her. “You told me he still loved me, wanted me.” She glanced over her shoulder and shuddered at the sight of him. “What he wants is a good bath and his ration of rum tossed overboard.”
This one, at least to me, was pretty easy and obvious. It has to be Lady Philippa, 
or as I always call her, Pippin, talking about her beloved Dash, after finding him all those years later. I absolutely adore this book, Memoirs of a Scandalous Red Dress, because it covered what felt like a lifetime of missed chances, and a second (well, probably a third or fourth) chance at happiness.
