My “Seelie Goose” published in A Chimerical World: Tales From the Seelie Court!

justminnieMy fairy story, “Seelie Goose” was published as part of the Seventh Star Press anthology, A Chimerical World: Tales of the Seelie Court. It stars Minnie, Skye’s tiny otherworldly companion, in her first solo adventure. Skye is busy with the terrifying events of RJ Sullivan’s Virtual Blue, so Minnie gets herself into trouble with the fairy court of Bloomington, Indiana, and has to use her own wits and innate magic to survive!

“Seelie Goose” is set in the same urban fantasy universe as the Road Ghosts books and the upcoming Tipsy Fairy Tales: Blue Spirit and Restless Spirit.

Check out my story along with 18 other stories from the Seelie Court!

The Fey have been with us since the beginning, sometimes to our great joy but often to our detriment. Usually divided (at least by us silly humans) into two courts, the first volume of A Chimerical World focuses on the Seelie Court: the court we humans seem to view as the “good” faeries. But “good” and “evil” are human concepts and as alien to the Fey as their mindsets are to us.

Inside you will find 19 stories that delve into the world of the faeries of the Seelie Court, from authors both established and new, including George S. Walker, Eric Garrison, and Alexandra Christian.

But be warned: these faeries are nothing like Tinker Bell.

Spectral Delivery – A New Road Ghosts Story!

spectral-delivery-neon4

Spectral Delivery – 99 cents for Kindle!

It’s here! The latest installment in the Road Ghosts series, Spectral Delivery! Think of it as Road Ghosts “by the slice”:

Meet Enid, a pizza delivery trainee who’s stuck riding along with ghost-geek Brett on Valentine’s Day night. Her boyfriend begs her to try to get off early, but things get weirder and weirder as she and Brett find paranormal activity at every stop. Fascinated, Enid finds herself pulled into Brett’s shadowy world as they race to get hot pizza to their final destination, and see that love is a tie that binds spirits long after death.

Published by Seventh Star Press, edited by Kathy Watness and RJ Sullivan, with artwork by Kirsten Maloney, this Seventh Star Single is a short introduction to the Road Ghosts world, and a few of the characters in it. Narrated by Enid, this is an outsider’s introduction to the supernatural world that Brett, Gonzo, and the others take for granted in Four ’til Late, Sinking Down, and Me and the Devil (Spring 2014).

And at 99 cents, Spectral Delivery is less than a slice of pizza, so download it and read it over lunch! Just don’t let the Hey Dudes know, or they’ll try to mooch some ‘za off you.

It’s up on Amazon’s Kindle Store and available on the Nook at the moment, with Kobo and other platforms to follow.
