Blatant Man-Candy

I've got absolutely no news. So instead of babbling on about...whatever...I decided to limit this post to hotties. I've been mulling over Oliver and Vincent's next book, hence the theme for today's hotties. Yep, I admit it, my mind's been totally in the gutter, and it's so much fun there. So consider today's post my little invite to come join me in the gutter. ;)

Random Saturday News

A few days ago I mentioned how Convincing Arthur got a lovely review from Whipped Cream Erotic Romance Reviews. Well, I got an email from them yesterday. Arthur and Leopold are up for Best Book of the Week. So if you feel so inclined, pop on over and check out the list of books - Best Book of the Week . Voting is open Saturday and Sunday.

In other news, Samhain is holding a holiday scavenger hunt . They are giving away a couple of ereaders for the grand prizes, along with tons of free books...

Next Book and Other Random Stuff

It snowed here last night. Snowed!! Yes, the white cold stuff. sigh. I'm so not ready for winter. I'd much rather be on the beach with today's hottie.

If you haven't seen me around the web or on Goodreads much, it's because I'm busily finishing up a ms. It's closing in on January, and I've been giving some serious thought to the next Ava book. Wanna know who has been bugging me the most lately? *g* Oliver and Vincent. :) Come mid-January, I'm planning to start work on the last book in the...

Guest Blogging Today

I'm guest blogging over at Oh Get A Grip ! today. The week's topic is 'Don't be scared; it's just a genre', and part of the topic includes writing a short piece in a genre you're not all that comfortable with. If you have time, stop on by and see which genre I picked. And thanks to Devon Rhodes for the invite to guest post!
In other blogland news, Shawn Lane is running a couple of contests on her blog for her upcoming releases - The Best Gift and Ticket to Ride . Both are wonderful books...

A Little Something Extra

It's been a busy, long holiday weekend, and I haven't posted in a week. So I'm offering up a hottie with a little something extra (...though I doubt he'd be pleased if he heard it referred to as 'a little something' *g*).
The only bit of writing excitement I've had this week - From Afar showed up on Samhain's Coming Soon page. The book will be released on February 23, 2010. There isn't much on the page yet - not even the blurb or tagline - but...yeah, I've been by to visit it more than a...

Pondering the Hottie

Since I don't have any exciting news to share, I'll keep this post short. I've been spending most every evening writing lately, typing furiously to finish a book. It's coming along nicely, so I'm pleased. And I'm very much looking forward to the three-day work week and the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday.
Though I will say, I spent the last five minutes wondering just what that hottie is up to in today's picture. Is that yellow paint on him? Like it matters - he's quite yummy and I'd happily...

Tag - I'm It

I got tagged today by Shawn Lane for a M/M Meme, who got tagged by Erotic Horizon , who got tagged by Lily , who got tagged by Kris , who started it all.

Rules:
1. Answer all the questions below in either the comments here or post it on your own site. If you post it on your own site you have to come back and give the link here so I/Kris can mosey on over and see if you have a sticky beak.

2. You have to tag two other people once your done and pester them relentlessly until they do the meme too.

3. I...

Deadlines

When it comes to writing a book, I have a love/hate relationship with deadlines. On one hand I love them because they mean that some publisher out there liked my idea enough to contract the book before it was written and that they trust me enough as an author to believe I'll write a book good enough to be published. Pretty much, that I won't turn in crap. *g* I'll admit, it's a heady feeling to sign a contract for something that's still swirling around in my head.

But deadlines also mean that ...

Sneak Peek at From Afar

Today I thought I'd offer up a sneak peek of my upcoming release, From Afar. For those who follow along, I did finish the blurb and turned it into my editor. As soon as I get the finalized version, I'll share it. Until then, here's a bit from Chapter One (the unedited chapter 1, so please be kind and forgive any typos).
Oh, and it's definitely an adult-rated sneak peek. *g* So here's your 'contains voyeurism' warning. And it is a m/m book, for anyone who may wonder.
