17 November 2019 – Leif has set sail!
Yes, Starman’s Saga: The Long, Strange Journey of Leif The Lucky is now available as an e-book from Amazon. I hope that you enjoy reading about Leif’s voyage as much as I did writing his story.
I decided to use Amazon’s KDP Select for this book. I haven’t done that before, but the comments I have seen have been favorable, so I’m trying it out. I will post on the experience and let’s see how it goes. The paperback is still a work in progress; more precisely, the cover is a work in progress. I knew it would never match the timing of the e-book release, but I am hoping to have it done soon.
And then, there is the matter of the new manuscript …

10 November 2019 – Almost there
The review from Kirkus is out! You can read it here: STARMAN’S SAGA. Now the pressure to get the book out is really on. The e-book will be active in a week, that’s the plan now. Which means I better be writing about that in a week. The paperback is going to take a little more time.
While this is going I’ve picked up copies of C.J. Cherryh’s Alliance Rising and Jack McDevitt’s Octavia Gone. Those are two of my favorite authors and two of my favorite series, so it’s time to find a little time for reading. Right after the e-book goes live. Of course.

Leif is getting ready to sail, 26 October 2019
Yes, I am now expecting Leif to set sail by the end of next month (November). A more exact date will come in a week or two. My main task now is to make sure I focus on the details necessary to get this done and not heed the pull of a new idea that wants to be written.

Well, the new website is up and running. It has been a long time in coming and took the folks at IKnow to make it happen. Many thanks.
My efforts now are all focused on getting Starman’s Saga ready to go. I’ve been saying we’ll have a fall publication and we are looking on track. 
I hope you’ll set sail along with Leif on his journey. Stay tuned.
