Lingling Wei is an award-winning journalist for The Wall Street Journal. Hailing from a farm province in eastern China, she came of age as a journalist in New York and returned to China in early 2011 to report on changes in her homeland. She moved back to New York in 2020 and continues to write about China, in particular its relationship with the U.S.
