Cover Reveal for SOUL TO STEAL!
I can finally show the cover for SOUL TO STEAL!
Book Two in the From Smokeless Fire series, SOUL TO STEAL is the sequel to SUMMONED, and it’s coming out on May 21st. If you’ve read SUMMONED (and if you haven’t, click HERE right now!) you’ll want to know what trouble Zahara’s going to get herself into this time around.

Zahara, a jinn who’d rather go shopping than haunting, is back in the human world enjoying cool fashion, hot cars, and hotter men—anything to avoid obsessing over Harut, the fallen angel who saved her life and stole her heart in Morocco. Besides, her usually disapproving mother has given her an important quest: find and protect a half-human cousin who’s gained strange new magical powers.
Jo Bianchi adores fixing cars, country music, and her Iranian-American girlfriend, Parisa. Even after Harut saves her life when she’s attacked by a magical bird from Persian legend, and Zahara pops in to talk her into an out-of-this-world family reunion, Jo doesn’t want to believe she’s been marked for death because of a cursed gift, or that she and her girlfriend’s supernatural relatives are bitter enemies.

New Year, More Books!
2020 has rolled on in, and with it a whole new year of excitement about writing and books! In 2019, my debut novel Summoned came out, and I’m currently working on the sequel, which will be the second book in the From Smokeless Fire series. Stay tuned for more updates about the new release, and in the meantime enjoy my very first podcast interview with Max Bowen of Citywide Blackout. This episode features three different authors from the 2019 Rhode Island Author Expo at Rhodes on the Pawtucket, and my interview starts at about 9:50.

Book Signing at the RI Author Expo!
Zahara and her friends (and so, so many enemies) are going to the author expo! I’ll be signing copies of SUMMONED and trying (unsuccessfully) to not buy up half of the books for sale. And there will be so many to choose from! Over a hundred authors and their works will be at the event, with free admission and parking. Rumors have it that Santa Claus will be in attendance, and you know that Zahara will most certainly make the naughty list…
