Jay Roland was originally born in Flint, Michigan, and he attended several schools in the greater Flint area. As "the new kid" in school, he relied on his deep understanding of games like Dungeons & Dragons, Rifts, Shadowrun, Vampire: The Masquerade, and Magic: The Gathering to connect with new and unique friends.

While Jay has enjoyed a successful IT career for the past twenty-three years, his true passion lies in storytelling. Nowadays, you can often find him running various homebrew games for friends and family, where he weaves tales of intrigue and imminent peril around the gaming table.
