No Witnesses
Presenting the trailer to the seventh story titled ‘No Witnesses’ from my upcoming book.
Here’s a little blurb of this story:
On his son Abhay’s 18th birthday, Sumit recalls the day Abhay came into his life. As a single father, raising Abhay hasn’t been easy, but the most difficult part for him was holding on to a secret nobody knows about; a secret that could change both his and Abhay’s life forever. He considers Abhay to be a grown-up now and thinks that he would be able to handle the truth. But at the same time, Sumit is also afraid of losing Abhay forever. What is this secret and will Sumit reveal it to Abhay? And, how will Abhay take it?

Prerna is looking forward to a solo trip she has been planning from a long time. Being an introvert and shy kind of person, it took a lot of courage for her to finally take the plunge. As her flight is about to take off, an old long-lost friend shows up as her co-traveller. Old feelings, inhibitions and self-doubt creep up in Prerna’s mind as the friend recalls days gone by. Will Prerna’s trip be ruined now?

Kris has a dream on Christmas eve where he meets with characters from the Christmas stories his mother has been reading out to him since the past week. These characters interact with Kris about their stories and share humorous anecdotes leading to an overall excitement in Kris’s mind and heart about the coming day.

Ria’s favourite sweet dish is Gajar ka Halwa (Carrot Pudding), with lots of ghee and garnishing of various dry fruits. After marriage, she is excited to make this dessert for her husband. But his preference about the making and the taste of this sweet dish is completely different from hers. Does Ria stick to her taste or will she have to change the way she likes her favorite sweet dish?

#WonderWomen Recognition on Glimmers of Gujarat
Dale Carnegie says,
“People work for money but go the extra mile for recognition, praise and rewards.”
In December 2018, when I started the #WonderWomen segment, I had nothing but the motivation to write the stories of women with talents and creativity.
Today, after one and a half year, it has managed to touch not only the lives of the 100 #WonderWomen featured in this segment so far, but people beyond borders and way out of my social circle.
The question, “Am I doing good work?” frequently comes to my mind. But today, something happened which put this doubt to rest.
Glimmers of Gujarat, a platform which appreciates truly good work by people from various professions and walks of life, featured me on their social media pages.

Warned in Love

And, here’s a little blurb around the story:
“Aashna receives a mysterious phone call in the middle of the night. The caller is a girl who says she has been kidnapped and will die if Aashna doesn’t help her. Before Aashna can get details about the girl and her whereabouts, the phone gets cut off. Who was she and why did her voice sound eerily familiar? Will Aashna be able to help her?”

Book Release Announcement and Pre-Release Activities

My new book is ready to be released on 15th July.

It will be a collection of 8 short stories (flash fiction) covering a range of genres including romance, mystery, horror, thriller and much more!
Starting today, you’ll have to guess the titles of these stories in my posts (these will be posted at 5 pm every alternate day)After each name reveal, the next post would be a small teaser of that day’s title.
This will continue everyday till 15th July.

And guess, what?? That day will be the book cover reveal!!! I will be giving you all a glimpse at the book’s cover through an Instagram live at (no points for guessing) 5 pm!!
