Best Laid Plans (Garnet Run Book #2) by Roan Parrish

A life without plans meets a house in shambles.

“Dimensions (as he thought of them), weren’t positive or negative. They were simply the truth of how he felt about things.”

Best Laid Plans by Roan Parrish.

This book came to my attention when it was returned to the library with sticky note tabs all over it! Seems the person who read it was offended by every bit that was tabbed! I HAD to read it to see what was SO offensive! Spoiler alert! The tabs marked p...

Payback’s A Witch by Lana Harper

Buy this book on Amazon

There’s nothing like three jilted witches plotting a bit of payback.

“I clearly had no trouble recognizing him. Yet there was nothing in his eyes, beyond the generic glaze of a drunk and horny male who wanted into my pants.” ~ Payback’s a Witch

There’s more magic in the first of The Witches of Thistle Grove by Lana Harper (From Bad to Curse) when a jilter gets his comeuppance.

It’s fall once again. Time for the leaves to be turning, the apples to be...

A long haul back to my writing routine.

I’m back online, after a long silence. I’m finally ready to get back to work. After I published Finding Ching Ha, I was busy with some health issues. A month later I came down with COVID. After two weeks of being sick at home, and a couple of trips to the emergency room, I ended up in the hospital with respiratory failure caused by pneumonia. Thankfully, I was out five days later and was able to continue the rest of my treatment at home. It took another month of recovery and taking it relativ...

After a short reading, we had a lively Q and A. We also discussed some of the diverse themes in Finding Ching Ha.that extended beyond inter-cultural adoption, into the similarities and differences between people exclusive of cultural background. While I wasn’t able to engage in the f...

Dabbling with Dark Drabbles

Two of my flash fiction stories have been published in Dark Drabbles 666 – the latest anthology by Black Hare Press.

The stories in this anthology Seeking Asylum and The Husband’s Lair are published under Mariya West and Nelsim F. Chan. Does anyone who is good at anagrams want to take a shot at unscrambling the names?

Check out Dark Drabbles 666
