The Numerology School is open!

The Numerology Forecast - March 2020

Just like that February slipped away and we’re stepping into the first spring month of the year! March is Pisces and Aries season and as we’re in the final throes of Mercury’s retrograde tour in the sky you can feel a bit lightheaded and disconnected until March 10th. A lot of release and upheaval might have affected you in the wake of the new moon at the end of February. You might feel a bit spaced out and irritated by practical things and people that seem fixated on misunderstanding you and your path. Instead of surfing the surface of conversations and relationships, make a point of grounding your energy and work with your body to stay present in the rooms and exchanges you’re in right now. March is taking the self-love vibration from last month and elevating it to a more spiritual perspective. This month is a great time to dive into your spiritual crushes and the mythical stories that can be used as allegories for your own life. If you’ve ever felt particularly connected to any deity, faith, saga or higher realm then March invites you to connect deeper with the values, stories, and prominent figures within it. Explore the films, series, oracle decks, fiction and non-fiction books that focus on your favorite mythical heroes and heroines as now is the time to examine why you’re drawn to these stories and worlds. Maybe you’re called to explore classics like Women Who Run with the Wolves or Burning Woman to re-ignite the fire within you. Maybe you need to de-cloak some religious or historical figures and feel called to explore Mary Magdalene Revealed or another spiritual lineage that intrigues you. Look to the present-day revolutionaries if you need to be inspired by the people who’re pulling the threads of the ancient into our current reality. The Numerology Forecast - February 2020

February is opening its arms and sweeping us up in a loving new vibration! This month has beautiful themes of devotion, caring, beauty, love and heart connections. The start of the month is a great time to upgrade your physical surroundings, from redecorating, inviting in more life in the form of plants, little altars and physical reminders of your goals to finally taking down the last of the Christmas decorations. Make space in your calendar for true self-care, which this month probably looks like being your own loving parent. This means sorting your taxes, going to therapy, doing laundry (on more than one level) and all those physical and mental tasks that clear your inner desktop of clutter. As Mercury goes retrograde on February 17th we will be looking backward and taking inventory in the world of romance, innovation, and dreams. Now is a great time to pop the hood on your dreams and look closer at the big why behind them. You’ll get my best tips and tricks to get through Mercury Rx a few days before the planet turns backward in the sky. Love is what makes the world go round and if your dreams are born from your inner child's need to be seen, heard, and loved then you’re like most other grown-ups. Some of our dreams are sparked not from creative impulses and inspiration but as a path to make sense of loss and finally get the recognition we hungered for from our parents. Maybe you’ve worked hard on uncovering your own inner story and drive and this Mercury Rx will bring you more clarity and peace around your goals. February is the month that sees us cut the last strings back to 2019 and on a cosmic level that means that it’s time to finish what’s still left on your to-do list from last year or cut your losses and move on. If you’ve been chasing overdue invoices, trying to make a meeting happen or still harboring resentment for something that happened in the last decade, create a little ritual to let go of it all. Want a fun way of physically marking the things you wish to leave behind? Write down all the ‘strings’ from last year that you feel is keeping you from moving on. Make sure they are things, patterns, people and places that you’re truly ready to let go off. I’m mixing in a bit of Astrology in your Numerology  Forecast for this one. You have four options: If you’re a fire sign: Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius – find an outdoor or well-ventilated place and burn your list, scatter the ashes outside your home. If you’re a water sign: Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces – freeze your list in a Ziploc bag or freezer-safe container. Leave it frozen for at least 9 days before discarding the contents. If you’re an earth sign: Capricorn, Taurus, Virgo – rip up your list and bury it outside your home. Make sure it’s written on a compostable material before putting it in mama earth’s soil. If you’re an air sign: Libra, Aquarius, Gemini – rip up your list into tiny pieces and find a windy spot like a tall bridge or building, the top of a hill, or near the coast to scatter the pieces in the wind. When doing this ritual: focus on infusing your list with all the emotional, physical and spiritual weight that you’ve been carrying. With the release of the list: allow yourself to let the whole thing go and hand it over to whatever higher power you connect to. It’s handed over and done. The Numerology Forecast - January 2020

Welcome to a new decade! As I was taking down our Christmas tree today I contemplated the fact that I’ve been alive to witness the shift from one millennium to the next in 2000 and that I’ll live to see the new 20’ies, 30’ies, and beyond. What an extraordinary time to be alive, I can’t wait to see what this year and decade has in store for us all! Wondering what this year has in store for you? Read the forecast for 2020! Time is a fickle thing and while we’re definitely in a new year, the themes of 2019 take a bit to wean off so if you feel like you’re not fully in this new vibration yet then that’s completely normal. January this year is a month for making friends, offer introductions, network, serendipitous meetings and change in relationships. If you live in a cold climate then you might normally stay inside and not have many chances to meet new people. Make it easy for new opportunities to find you by hosting a ‘bring a friend’ dinner or game night or plan a potluck with a bunch of people you’d like to get to know better. If your workplace has any social gatherings planned or if you get invited to attend one at a different company - go! As the vibration this month is amplified by the fact that we stepped into a year of change this month could also lead you to change direction in your career or get offered a job or a promotion. Everything that enters your world in terms of people and career opportunities this month has a sprinkle of significance. Even if you decide to turn down an invitation or don’t feel a deeper connection with someone there could still be a lesson or an idea that you’d never get to if it wasn’t for this person. The Numerology Forecast - 2020

2020 isn’t just a delicious ripe new year we get to bite into. It’s the start of a new decade and as we enter the 20ies we step deeper into the third millennium and the call of the divine feminine on a global scale. Get ready for even more global revolution and reorganization of the status quo. Let’s start with the big perspective and work our way down to what the first few months mean for you according to your first base number. 2020 is a 4 year in Chaldean numerology as its digit sum is 4. The major themes this year have to do with stability, creation, innovation, and patience. The global vibration has us all tending to the structures and ideas we’ve been developing and nurturing for the last three years. It’s time to test and assess if what you’re building is holding up to the blueprint in your mind. It’s a year to evaluate and tend to all the moving parts of your life. It isn’t the right time to randomly change course or prematurely try to jump many steps ahead. The Phases in a Name Change - 6

This is the final post in a series of six posts on the phases of a name change through numerology. The transformation that happens when you leave an inharmonious name behind and get a harmonious name that fully supports your essence = birthday can't be boiled down to just a few blog posts. Yet it can be helpful to know the general patterns and waves of what is going to happen and that you're 'on schedule' in your journey. This is the final post in a series of six posts on the phases of a name change through numerology. Yet it can be helpful to know the general patterns and waves of what is going to happen and that you're 'on schedule' in your journey. PHASE SIX: SYNTHESIS The 6th phase is the final phase. For most people, this phase takes them through the rest of their lives. You're now completely released from the karma inherent in your old name. (This does not mean that no other karma is in play in your life, karma is part of all earthly living.) Your name and essence are working harmoniously together. The life goal and lessons inherent in your base number and soul signature are going to position you for the greatest possible expansion. You're being supported on all sides. Ready for Mercury in retrograde?

Is your calendar mixing up the times and dates for your plans and maybe you’ve even had to mourn the sudden passing of a phone or other mechanical apparatus? That's because it's here again! And with it, here are my best tips and trick to make it through Mercury in Retrograde. Mercury is headed into retrograde from February 17th to March 10th, June 18th to July 12th. and October 14th to November 3rd 2020. Maybe you've already felt the shadow of Mercury and communication in all its forms has been distorted, leading to misunderstandings and confusion piling up. Mercury is the planet that rules communication in all forms: speech, writing, information, technology, money, systems, contracts, transport, travel, coordination, ideas, and business. So these are all areas that can be challenging to move forward in when their ruler has decided to take inventory and spend some time looking back. Mercury rules the Sun signs of Virgo and Gemini and base number 5. If you have these signs in your chart and/or were born on the 5, 14, 23 in any month and/or the digit sum of your birth year is 5 - like 1985; then you might feel the influence of the retrograde period more intensely. Mercury is connected to your body’s central nervous system. While we mostly talk about Mercury as a ruler of the communication that takes place outside your body it can be helpful to pay attention to any anxiety or old thought patterns that resurface in this period. Your brain interprets and sorts all the information that your nervous system picks up and when communication pathways get blocked or confused the brain suddenly doesn’t have all the information it needs to analyze a situation and choose the best response. Be patient with yourself, the impulses that show up and anything that feels counter-intuitive, you might have to sit with a decision or emotional challenge for a bit until it unravels itself for you. It’s the small, everyday transactions and meetings that get affected the most when Mercury is in retrograde. Since it’s all the small details that in the long run snowball into something that truly trips you up, it’s imperative to pay extra attention to the details of any agreements and transactions that come up. This means triple-checking plans and confirming details. Read the fine print or just wait on signing up for anything that shows up in your inbox during this period. Pro tip: Re-frame any negative thoughts that come up during this period. Any emotions that are ready to be released or brain pathways that are ripe for reprogramming will appear now. Know that Mercury is here to do you a favor by decluttering your life, even if it feels like it’s trolling you six ways from Sunday. Any relationships that were started during a retrograde period will often be tested during the next one. This is a time to clear confusion and move on with clarity and renewed faith in the future. Make sure you’re both on the same page and understand what the other person needs. Take the love language test or read up on Marshall Rosenberg’s work on nonviolent communication – both excellent sources if you want to expand your tools of clear and effective communication. Pay attention to everything that resurfaces in your life right now. See if it's time to rewind, reinvent, rediscover, recover, reread, realign, relearn, research, redecorate, release or recommit to the things that pop up. Get rid of excess baggage. Mercury might break your belongings or even make them suddenly disappear if you're overdue for an upgrade. Instead of getting overly protective and buying a Kryptonite lock for your bike helmet, spend your energy on releasing and expanding. This means decluttering, cleaning out your spaces and head, resetting boundaries, deleting, unsubscribing, un-following and disengaging from people, places and platforms that no longer serve you and bring you joy. Make space for better things by getting rid of the old. Make sure you don't cop out on this one by falling into the trap of just organizing things, that just makes you move stuff around or store it differently. Re-frame your year. This retrograde period is giving you a chance to slow down, take stock and dwell on the ways you’ve expanded and explored the areas that Mercury rules. It’s helpful to not look for failures or successes but more for areas of growth and challenge. When looking at communication in all its shapes – how have you expressed your truth at the beginning of this year? Where have you stepped up or protected yourself by stepping aside? What are the ways you have grown and authentically shown up in line with your essence and wishes for the future? A note on name changes and Mercury in retrograde. Should you wait or postpone a name change until after Mercury goes direct? It depends on if the idea of the change is something that predates the retrograde period or if you suddenly got inspired to book a session during Mercury’s backward move. As a rule, projects, ideas, and plans made before a retrograde period can be worked on and followed through on to the end. New ideas, partners and plans should be put on the back burner until at least a week after Mercury heads back in forwarding motion. Remember to breathe and laugh! If nothing else Mercury in retrograde is here to show us that the majority of the control we think we have over our lives is an illusion.
