Fiaso, Ghana

Ousman Umar es un escritor y activista nacido en Fiaso, Ghana, en 1988. Llegó a España de adolescente tras cruzar el desierto del Sáhara a pie y el mar Mediterráneo en patera. Una vez en Barcelona, fue acogido por una familia y pudo estudiar, graduándose en Relaciones Públicas y Marketing y obteniendo un máster en Cooperación Internacional por la ESADE. En 2012 fundó NASCO Feeding Minds, una ONG dedicada a proporcionar educación digital a jóvenes en su país natal, por la que recibió el Premio Princesa de Girona Social en 2021.
