Glenn Beck: Liberals stink at poetry

Usually the left has the arts market cornered - but poetry? Not so much. Who could forget Al Gore's intellectual beast of a poem with such dazzling lines as "Neptune's bones dissolve" littered throughout. Now, Van Jones took part in a poetry contest - not that the communist wants to encourage competition or anything. They just wanted good poetry. What they got was good (unintentional) comedy.

EU: Fiscal union or bust?

EU nations are under intense pressure to create a 'fiscal union' or face collapse. This is exactly the reason we are facing the problems of today: because the gov always thinks going bigger is better.

Trickle Down Bankruptcy

The Federal Government. They always find a way to screw things up - and the bigger it gets the worse it gets, often times at the expense of small local governments. Erick-Woods Erickson from RedState.com examines the catch-22 that local governments find themselves trapped in as the public sector balloons and the small town governments are left footing the bill.

Glenn Beck: Food Safety Bill has passed...

It sounds so innocent and sweet - but all this bill does is increase the size and scope of the FDA. Do we really want the FDA having the authority to force food recalls? Giving the federal government the ability to take away our food doesn't seem like the smartest idea in the world. But apparently it's a hit with the politicians - Glenn explains the bill and goes over who voted for it on radio today.

Priorities: where does your family rate?

We've gone from a country that thrived on small communities and families relying on each other - into people who are lost in our own little world. We listen to ipod's, sit on the computer, watch TV. Maybe you didn't even notice you have tuned out - find out how you can reset and get back to the things that matter most. Glenn has more on radio today.

Glenn Beck: Congress working for you

With all the trouble America is facing -- the economy, global unrest, corruption, every foreign policy secret imaginable being posted on the internet -- Harry Reid decided to spend taxpayer time and money to talk football. College football. It's almost as if Reid could care less about the country as it crumbles around him. Glenn has coach Harry Reid's comments and reaction on radio today.
