Jenny Ferns born was one of the first Baby Boomers, post World War II. She spent her formative years and education in England. She graduated from Keele University in with a joint honors degree in Biology and Psychology then moved to Canada . As a Biologist she taught High School for a few years before travelling Europe as a film production secretary for Ferns Productions. As a Biologist and fundraiser she worked for her naturalist mentor, Gerald Durrell and Wildlife Preservation Trust Canada. She completed a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology, and had a private practice in Canada, with a focus on alcoholism, trauma, family violence and PTSD.
