PaxWorld in January

A blond woman leaning next to a card in a winter white coat and her driver standing next to the open car door watching her.

Hey Fellow Romance Fanatics,

Whoa, January has been a trip. I’m looking for another Amazon series to binge if things don’t calm down.

Here’s the latest PaxWorld Newsletter for January 22 – February 19th. Besides the free and discounted romance ebooks offered, there’s a chance to vote for the new Work Spouse ad. The cool thing is that you can give your opinion and you just might win a signed paperback of Work Spouse.

Anyway, Work Spouse will launch Feb 26th. I thought I’d deal with ...

Me Coping with Shelter in Place

Im happy some states are attempting to open up, and even parts of California are loosening their stay-at-home orders. Unfortunately, Santa Clara County, where I live, has extended their stay-at-home orders until the end of May. I get it; we were a hot spot when this all began because of our dense population. I guess the key here is to loosen restrictions in a safe way, to get us back to a new normal and reopen our economy.

You Got to Move It

Actually, this is not something I started since the...

Love@work series: Love Contract, book Two

When I begin to write a story, the first four chapters always seem to come to me in a rush. It was no different with Love Contract. Those first four chapters set the mood for Kellis story, establish the place, and introduce the two males in the love triangle.

This is the third romance Ive written and theyve all been love triangles. I like this trope and feel more comfortable with a large cast of characters. I think three people in a romance gives me a lot more options. I also think the...

Love@work series: Trinal, Book One

Triangle romances in Silicon Valley

Now that I’m two books into the series, I thought I’d talk about Love@work as a whole and the individual books: Trinal, Love Contract, and the upcoming third book, Work Spouse.

Trinal is actually an erotic romance set in a tech company in Silicon Valley. Although this first story is erotic, the other books, Love Contract and the upcoming books that have been planned, are steamy stories. I was told it would be risky to start a series with an erotic tale if...

Five Fun Facts from Behind the Scenes of The Grail, Book One of The Guard Series (Part One)

I’m excited to announce a guest post from author MB Saul. We had such a great time discussing the books in The Guard Series during my interview with her on Author to Author, I asked her to contribute a post. This is part one of a two part blog post.

Nine years ago, I had a persistent scene in my head of a boy with magical abilities running out of an enchanted cabin after a girl who happened to be passing by and who he had not yet met, but he knew in his soul, he was infinitely tied to her. Thus, the pre...

Someone Like You, The Trailer

I released the trailer about a week after the book launch on July 12th. If you haven’t seen it, it is on the website, Facebook, Amazon Author Central, etc.

Although I’ve received positive comments, some expressed that it is unexpectedly dramatic. That’s a fair assessment. Here’s what happened. The project began several months ago. Being a newbie, but always game to try something new, I was excited to work on a video for the book. But I didn’...
