Tasty Thursday-Baklava

This middle eastern desert is the next to be featured on this weeks Tasty Thursday!

Ingredients



For the baklava:


1 pound of chopped nuts (almonds, walnuts, or pistachios are best, or use a combination of them)
1 pound of phyllo dough
1 cup of butter, melted
1/3 cup of sugar
1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
1/3 teaspoon of ground cloves

For the syrup:


1 cup of water
1 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of honey
2 tablespoons of lemon juice
1 cinnamon stick

Tasty Thursday- Grilled Rice Balls

Another Tasty recipe for you all, this time from Japan.

Ingredients

2 cups premium Japanese sushi rice 2 tbsp Kikkoman Teriyaki Marinade & Sauce 1 tbsp packed light brown sugar

Tasty Thursday-Classic Chinese Noodles.

It's Tasty Thursday. As promised here's a recipe from across the sea.


Try this simple and tasty recipe for Chinese noodles.

Ingredients


7 ounces steam fried Chinese noodles
6 slices ginger
2 stalks green onions (cut in 1-inch strips)
3 tablespoons oil

Sauce


3 tablespoons oyster sauce
2 tablespoons soya sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil

Directions


Put noodles in 4 cups of salted boiling water. Cook 1-2 minutes. Stir occasionally.
