Johan Edfeldt is a master world-builder with two captivating universes. In "The Saga of the World Within," where color itself is magic, he brings to life a coming-of-age fantasy adventure through novels such as Den försvunna färgen (translates to: The Lost Colour), Det förlorade svärdet (translates to: The Lost Sword), and Den stora flykten.

His "Polar" series ventures into a harsher realm, a grim and frozen land where the spark of passion challenges the cold. This series includes Polar: The Ice Dragon’s Curse and Polar: Dressed in Dragonscales delivering raw and thrilling tales of survival and desire.

Alongside his fiction, Johan shares his expertise in Enterprise Performance Management through Performantria: Master the Game of Enterp

There, I would admire, or rather smile at, Belgarath's tower compared to Beldin's and hopefully go inside. Maybe I'll get a chance to study "water" for a couple of hundred years or so.(less)

I like to play video games, play the piano, go for a run, speak with someone I trust and love, or read a part of a book I like. If I have the time, I'll just stay in a "block" for a period of time and realize that "it's OK". Everybody gets it and that's just how it is.

One thing that will certainly become very common is sparring with an AI bot to get some tips on what could come next. Remember that it's your story, not a bot's story. If it's a co-created version, then be sure to credit that. For example, I used ChatGPT to translate my Swedish book into English, and it was both fun and frustrating when the translation went off track, and then I had to rewrite, edit, check, correct...(less)

From EPM Mondays to a Book

I started writing EPM Mondays posts about 8 months ago with the goal of growing them into something bigger. My aim was to share experiences from different industries, both the good and the bad, and to make performance management feel a bit more real and relatable.

I wanted to bring in stories from oil rigs and offices, from chemical plants and desks, and to weave in some memorable anecdotes. Since Read more of this blog post »
