Today is here...Welcome to the Survival party

On this day - December 12, 2018, a Game of Survival was published via Amazon . The amount of blood, sweat, tears, thought process isn't enough to how  much effort went into this. Frankly, I'm quite proud of myself because it has been a long time coming thinking of new ideas that I continue forward with. This book may take me on a duology, it might take me on a trilogy, maybe a series, but I thank this book (and many of you readers) for getting me through the doorway as - I can now say - author. Me, an author! It just rings in my ear every time I say it and that I accomplished one of the many things I wanted to pursue in my life. That also being said, I would like to give a shout out to my mother, and wish her a Happy Birthday because without her I wouldn't have been me and I certainly wouldn't have been able to accomplish this feat. So two wonderful things on this day! Also, everyone, don't forget you can check me out on Goodreads and order your Hardcopy on Lulu - Hopefully, distribution is coming soon; with that, I wish you all - A Happy Survival.

It's almost here!

That's right everyone in one day, 21 hours, and several minutes A Game of survival's Ebook will be released on Amazon (December 12th). It's coming closer and closer to that time; I'm rather excited! That being said you can order the Hardcover on Lulu (currently in the works to get it distributed in other participating stores so bear with me!) You are also able to find me on Goodreads. So you can also give the book your review not just on Amazon or Lulu, but on Goodreads too. Your support would mean the world to me, especially if the first one does well (Even if it doesn't, I still love anyone who has supported or shown their love). That being said let the Survival Party begins on the 12th! #SURVIVALPARTY

You can order A Game of Survival, right now!

After so long, I did it, I can finally say that I am a self-published author. When I saw my book up there you don't know how much my heart didn't leap out of its chest. I have never been so happy or excited about anything (I mean, maybe if I get my dream car or win a trip to Egypt - but that's a different topic overall). You'll be able to go to the link and it will direct you to Amazon, where you'll be able to get the book on the available date (I did this as a sort of "surprise" for my mom too since the 12th is her birthday. So it's a little something for her and me. Anyway, I hope you check it out and stay tuned for posts and more updates.

Movie Night sunday

Picture Picture

So, Sunday night I went to the movies and I watched the movie Robin Hood and at 10 o' clock I watched the television adaption to the novella with the same name by George R.R. Martin. So, let's talk about Robin Hood - I'm not going to say I hated (because it was fairly enjoyable) but I had a lot of inner monologue with myself through the whole movie. I don't know if it was me or not, but I couldn't help but look at their clothing the entire time. They had leather, some weird matte material, fur coats (like movie star coats), steel, metal you name it. It felt kind of "out of context" don't get me wrong, if you aren't a history buff you won't notice. It was pretty much "the story before Robin Hood" and toward the end I'm like - "oh, I see what they did there..." It was - okay in a sense (apparently, Rotten Tomato hated it with a passion) but I'd say if you aren't a critical person and you know very little of Robin Hood (I don't know who doesn't) but watch it.The person who plays Robin Hood to me doesn't seem like a Robin Hood, he seems like he could be a Peter Parker, or a young James Bond (and I just realized he was in Kingsmand Secret Service so...there's that, funny. Jamie Foxx did pretty good, I was actually surprised! Even if you do know Robin Hood and stuff, just don't think too hard, and it's pretty okay (though the "YA Romance" think got me - or at least, I joked that it seemed like that. Like after a certain point it's like "oh...I see what you're doing there. Why did this happen to begin with?) Hopefully, I didn't ruin that with that line.
Anyway, NightFlyers...

I like Martin and his Game of Throne series - I've heard of a few others, like Wild Cards, but this was an interesting show. While watching I was like, reading the book probably would give me more information, but I'm sure it will be slow because the TV show seemed to go fast (not too fast) but it was still interesting as a plot. I probably won't watch the next episode because they had "that kind of scientist" (You know the ones in Jurassic Park or Jaws that "create" or love that so-called experiment, but then it starts killing people....yeah, that one). That scientist was just like annoying where it was like, it is happen WAY to frequent for you to think it is NOT happening. The beginning was good, it shows that horror, and throughout it whatever this is, is screwing with their minds. So, I mean, Sci-fi, and a plot-driven right up your alley!

on the second day of december, I bring good news to you...

So, cover is made, and finally editing is done; which means formatting is on its way! I guess the phrase "good things come to those who wait is pretty accurate". That being said my books release finally has a day: Yay! It will be December 12 (which is also my mother's birthday - I might have actually spoiled the surprise, but she was pretty excited for the news!) I'll have the ebook up for pre-order (that's my intentions, anyway). I might have the print version on the same day as well. So, stay tuned guys and mark your calendars!

New month, new surprises

December the 1st is already here and 2018 will soon come to a close - Does anyone have any New Years resolution? I am hoping that by the 1st of January I will be a self-published author. I might not be good enough, heck, maybe the series I am planning might not even be good, but I have said since I was sixteen that I will get a book of mine published - Honestly, it's the only thing I want (besides long-term goals like learning Latin and visiting Egypt). Being an author is what I have wanted to do for a long while and you know what, it's not even about if someone likes my stuff; it's the fact that I made it and I accomplished something. Anyway, stay-tuned for December shout-outs for the release of my book.

RIP sTEphen hillenburg - Where would be without Spongebob?

So on November 26, 2018 Stephen Hillenburg  - the creator of the famous 90s
Nickelodeon show SpongeBob (and other works). He died at the age of 57 from complications in ALS. You don't know how much this makes me sad. I remember watching Spongebob growing up (with my brother, sister, and grandfather). It was silly, stupid, but it was enjoyable and sometimes it had lessons too. Even as I write this down one of the Spongebob episodes is playing in my head (When Spongebob sang with Plankton about the F.U.N song to be his friend). I'll miss all those characters Spongbob, Gary (Meow!), Patrick, Squidward, Mr. Krabs, Plankton, Mrs. Puff, and so many other slew of characters. He did say he would continue to create Spongebob as long and as much as he can. Well, thank you Stephen Hillenburg for a wonderful cartoon you passed onto us kids growing up in the 90s. #Rip #Youwillbemissed #I'mReady!

Pre-nervous jitters...Already?

I mean, am I even supposed to be feeling this way already? I guess it is normal it being my first time, but I'm starting to think I'm jumping the gun too soon? That maybe I should do it in January (no later than January though, that's a given). So I can, at least, get my bearings together and prep, get my social media presence presentable and noticeable. I suppose I can play it by ear then; so DEC-JAN could be the round about time - I guess this is an earlier "heads-up" and not last minute, but definitely will post on a frequent. It would be nice though if it came out ON New Years. I wonder if that would be really cool or just a bad sell? lol Or make it Free for that one day. Hmm...I guess we'll see when its time. Keep you posted!
